I got the ES-388 Bluetooth USB Adapter from http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.24 for only $4.31 plus free shipping. It took 7 days for them to tell me my order had been shipped, and another 7 days before it arrived.
It didn't work until I went to http://www.bluesoleil.com/download/ and got the newest version of Bluesoleil. In their pdf release notes, it shows what version they fixed the bug dealing with the wiimote. Scan through for the word "wii" if you want to see it, although it doesn't really matter. The point is, it works now.
I'm using Windows Vista, but others use it with XP without problems now.
If you want the cheapest way to make it work, and you don't already have a bluetooth dongle, this is the best option I know about.
Note, if you had your Wiimote for a few months, and never used it, the batteries might still be dead. Odd. I had to change mine. If you remove the battery covering, you'll find a red button that makes the lights come on if the battery isn't dead.
Click on the Bluetooth places that is on your desktop since you installed the little disc that came with the dongle. Click Find Device.
Point your Wiimote at your bluetooth dongle, and press the 1 and 2 buttons. This will make it start flashing away. The dongle should flast as well repeatedly now.
And it'll show it listed, and then clicking on it, to activate it, it listed as "connected".
Easy as can be.
