Do you guys think the Wizard's vest and pants are blue or black? I thought I looked at the pictures and they were navy blue, and I bought all of my fabric and such....and then my boyfriend said he thought the reference pictures looked black. I looked at them all again and couldn't tell ;____;

What do you guys think? I've seen the show from the front row twice, right? You think I'd know...? ;____; Now I'm second guessing myself. Navy blue or black?

yeah it's black- susan hilfery said that it was her own personal joke because in the movie, the beginning was all in black and white and Oz was all in color, she dressed the wizard in all black and white- he's the only one that she did that for.

i actually have decided I'm glad it's black...this means I can buy chef pants and have them be accurate, without sewing them biggrin.gif and i found some black and white vest fabric I like better than my blue; it's heavier and more diamondy than dotty. yay!

thank you so much for your help, guys <3
