A replication of a 15th century Edwardian castle, Hatley Castle was built in 1908 for James Dunsmuir. The estate is comprised of 565 acres with various gardens throughout the area. The castle has now been turned into a museum, though piece of the estate has been made into the Royal Roads University as well.

This historic bed and breakfast inn, is a great place for a nice romantic getaway. Right in the heart of Victoria, in every room is a very marvelous view of the Victoria scenery. Right along the waterfront, there are many little restaurants outdoors where you can see all the boats coming and going into Victoria. During the day there are street musicians always eager to entertain. There is always something to do in Bastion Square whether it's shopping at one of the small shops or having dinner by the waterfront.

In the heart of Victoria's Oak Bay Village, lays the Penny Farthing Olde English Pub. With the quaint decor of the traditional English pub, with a fire always going in the fireplace and the fascinating memorabilia on the walls, it's a fine place to stop by for a drink or grab some lunch. Here they import draft beer and have over twenty kinds of beer to choose from. Their menu consists of the traditional British cuisine.
