[Atela Starlight]

Atela parked the truck outside a small home in the outskirts of Minami's boarder. She stummbled out of the truck and knocked on the door.

After a moment of not recieveing any reply, Atela picked the lock of the door and went in. She locked the door back and looked around. With a sigh, Atela went over to the couch and curled up on it. She fell asleep almost instantly.

Tears streaked Jared's cheeks as he saw the military vechical hidden in the bushes near his home. Growling, the priest sent a wave of white fire at it destroying the offending thing instantly.

"Damned fools! I'm not going to let you take me." he muttered as he went to the door of his house. Jared stopped as he noticed that the lock had been picked. "Who the hell?" he growled unlocking the door and rushing in.

He stopped in his tracks and feel to his knees. ~She...she...she's alive...~ He thought as tears began to form again. Shaking his emotions free, Jared got to his feet and raced over to her side.

"Damn...Tela...." he whispered as he removed her shirt.

[Atela Starlight]

Atela tried to fight Jared off of her as she felt the crude shirt start to leave her skin. She was too weak to do much though. "Jared???" She whispered horsely.

[Cedric Farland]

Jared caught his breath. "Yeah...it's me Starlight." he said softly as he finished removing the shirt. "Damn Atela. what did he do to you?" He asked not expecting an answer.

[Atela Starlight]

Atela sighed as she let the priest clean her wounds. "You don't want to know, Jared." She said relaxing. "I'm tired..."

[Cedric Farland]

"Then sleep, Tela." Jared said as he placed a hand on her forhead. He frowned as he felt how feviorish she was. "Yes....rest would be good for you now." He told her. He stood and lit some candles letting the scent of lavender fill the air.

[Atela Starlight]

Atela let the scent of lavender take over as she drifted back to sleep. Her dreams were not of Seth this time but of a man she had never met. His eyes studied her intently almost as if they judged her.

Jared was gentel as he cleaned the wounds and dressed them properly. He was sadden by how deep the wounds were on her legs and her back. The ones on her chest seemed to be even deeper but he realy couldn't tell. He sighed and placed the bloody water in the kitchen sink and went to find a robe for Atela to wear.


I hate you.... the man said glaring at her. But I need your help.

[Atela Starlight]

His eyes were a dark blue and black swirl. They drew Atela into them.

"Why should I help when you hate me?" She asked. "Why do you hate me when I know nothing about you?"

[Cedric Farland]

Jared heard Atela talking in her sleep. He frowned as he listened into her side of the conversation as he lit the fire.

I hate you because you are from Tenpai. I need your help because there are several children missing. the man replied though his voice was cold. Jared and Seth spoke highly of you.

[Atela Starlight]

Atela sighed in her sleep as she rolled over. She yelped in pain as she did so.

"you...you...you knew Seth?" She whispered. "When and why are they missing?"

[Cedric Farland]

Jared jumped up and immidatnly went to her. He grabbed more bandages and some thread for stitches.

Yes I knew him...he was one of my officers. the man replied. three nights ago and as far as we know there is no true reason for them to have been taken.

[Atela Starlight]

Atela whimpered as she felt the needle go into her skin at the base of her neck. "Were they brought onto this side?"

She cried out as she felt the needle against the skin on her lower back.

[Cedric Farland]

Jared placed a hand in the middle of Atela's back. He kept it there as he sent a paralizing spell through her spine. It would last long enough for him to stitch her lower back up.

Not yet...they are in route to the Mahou though. I don't know how long it will be until they reach it. the man reached out and touched Atela's cheek. you are in pain....why?

[Atela Starlight]

Atela was startled by the numbness in her back and tried to wake. The spells Jared placed were too strong though.

"I was...I was imprisioned by the Jevlen Organization..." Atela replied. "I was tortured and then shot...and left for dead..." She shivered at the man's touch.

[Cedric Farland]

A tear fell from Jared's eye as he heard Atela's confession. ~Damn you Cedric....~ he thought as he finished the stiches. The spell began to wear off.

The Jevlen...they are assholes....you should be more careful, Starlight. the man said. until we meet again..be safe... the man vanished with a rustle of wind. The wind blew past Atela's face as if kissing her.

[Atela Starlight]

Atela blushed slightly as the wind went past her. She raised a hand to her cheek and then closed her eyes leting sleep take her compleatly.

Ash appeared and looked round.
"Crap,now where am I?"He asked himself.

[Cedric Farland]

Jared turned and aimed the end of his staff at Ash. "What the hell are you doing here?" He asked lowering the staff slightly. He glanced back at the resting Atela. "She's lucky to be alive."

[Kimi Sumiko]

Ash jumped back,taking out a pair of knives.
"Dude you scared me.Heh...I came to talk to Atela....please dont scare me like that again or else I will slit your throat."He sighed.

[Cedric Farland]

"I scared you. You're the one that suddenly appred in my home!" Jared said shaking his head. "She's out for a bit. Her wounds though...they are strange."

[Kimi Sumiko]

"Yes you scared me.Normally you wouldnt expect some guy placing a weapon at your neck when you appear.What kind of wounds are they?"Ash asked,putting away his knives.

[Cedric Farland]

"I've had too many unwanted guests to let my guard down." Jared replied placing his staff on the floor. "They seem to be two weeks old...but she hasn't been gone that long has she?" Jared asked confused.

[Kimi Sumiko]

"Not that I know of...."Ash said.

[Cedric Farland]

"HE must have a made a time void then...." Jared muttered. He lifted the back of the blanket to show Ash the wounds on Atela's back. Dark red marks were all across her back. Some deeper than others. Some scared already. "A steel tiped whip is my guess...her legs and front are the same. There is a deep wound in her left shoulder as well from a dagger..." Jared shivered slightly.
