Below you will find the postcards for our first joint write-in effort. In order to have maximum impact we must mail these on the same day so that TPTB will be inundated with our messages and have to sit up and take notice.
We have chosen January 12, 2007 as our first official mailing date. We chose it because it will allow us time to rally our troops together for maximum participation and allow for return from holiday travel. When TPTB return from their vacations, they will be greeted by massive piles of postcards-- a great way to start the new year! In the meantime, we can all do our part to ensure as much participation as possible-- recruit, recruit, recruit! Feel free to continue with any other campaigns you may be working on or to write your own letters. Go ahead and print these out and get them stamped and ready to go (addresses in the post below), but please, do not mail them before January 12! credit and thanks to jrp for the postcard design (Posted Image) (Posted Image) (Posted Image) Now if you want to print these cards up through word, this is what you would need to do. You would need to save the card you want to print onto your computer and then paste it into word. Then you would right click onto the picture that you now have in word and click on format picture. Then you will want to click on layout, then click on tight and then you should be able to center it. Now if you want to be able to get all the words onto the paper(cause when I tried this before I cut off some of the words)then you will want to click on size and I believe it is the width that you want to work with until you get all the words to fit onto the paper. After this I would suggest clicking on print preview to see what it looks like. |

You guys did a really good job on phase two with the post cards and I'm sure sending them on the same day added more of an effect. The banner basically summed up what we all think and want to happen.
