Hear ye, hear ye! Phase Two of the Fix General Hospital Campaign starts here and now! Our second wave will be another postcard mailing on 2/2, but this time, the postcards will direct TPTB to our shiny new campaign website! It's a very simple site that basically says everything that would never fit on a postcard-- things TPTB need to hear about. The text on the site was based on the wish list formulated here. Here's a link: Fix General Hospital Campaign SiteAs the site is primarily geared toward TPTB, we did not link the forum, but there is a contact page for potential new recruits and anyone else who stumbles upon the site. For now, this forum will continue to be the real nerve center of the campaign, so keep it bookmarked and visit often, because this is where all updates will be made. Here is the postcard for Phase Two: ( Posted Image) You can go ahead and print it out now, but please hold off on mailing until 2/2, so we can flood their offices with our unified message for maximum impact. Until then, please keep recruiting and spreading the word. Every single one of us will make the difference! Thanks again everyone, for all of your hard work and thoughtful participation. This is a very special group, and I'm so proud to be a part of it!

What a fantastic idea! I will definitely participate. GH hasn't really been the same since I started watching it in 1997!

For those of us without a printer...or lol in my case a printer that is broken, what can we do? I've emailed and called, and I am spreading the word. What else can I do?

| QUOTE (MmeHazel @ Jan 16 2007, 07:36 PM) | Thanks for asking Heather! You're doing all the right things. I'd just add writing out some postcards or letters by hand. Snail mail is always more effective than e-mail, because it's tougher to ignore.
Welcome to the campaign, and thanks for being here! :) |
Is it better to write a postcard or a letter? For example will a letter go unopened? I ask because my printer is broken as well.

If your printer is broken, then sure, do letters-- everything helps! The postcards are useful, because when so many of them come in with the same message, it lets TPTB know that yes, something's up, and these are probably worth reading. It's creates a visual impact and a volume impact that's harder to ignore. So, ideally, postcards, but if not, definitely write letters!
Thanks for asking! :)

| QUOTE (MmeHazel @ Jan 18 2007, 03:56 PM) | | Well, Guza's there. The campaign's main targets are Disney and sponsors, since ABC and GH have been less than responsive in recent years. Basically we're including Frons and friends as a way of putting them on notice that we're going to the top of the food chain. |
Oh, I didn't look at he list close enough.
Thanks, Kim
