Fishdok Think nothing of it if you read about the subject of health it would help you out no end which in turn would put you in good stead for the future, this is where learning The QT tank and your pond all come together and when with careful management of your pond and filter will help towards this goal Weve found that many fishkeepers dont know the basics of fish keeing over the last 23 years as such there are many fish fatalities that could be avoided and only by educating people, by gently pointing them in the right direction works We recomend these books:- The Interpet Manual of fish health revised,(all fish)(formally Salamander) ISBN 1842860674 author'sDr Chris Andrews, Adrian Exell, Dr Neville Carrington. The next book though about koi can help you treat their cousin the Goldfish :- The Interpet Manual of Koi Health ISBN 1842860992. Keith Holmes, Tony Pitham. I hope this helps you out as it did me. I until we got the first title could have been called the death of goldfish but after reading it and getting into koi keeping big style it stood us in good stead for the future. In the last 23 years we have only ever lost 8 fish an impressive record dont you think? rgrds broxandval -------------------- Weve been Keeping Koi now for 26 year's we have 20 Koi, 1 orfe , 6 newts, a rescue female cat aged 4 called Suki (four white socks white running from chin to chest, white streak down belly the, body being black, have a russian blue type cat with while leg markings white chin etc and the cutest young boy cat, Jet black in colour (who has two tails)
