Bought 2 more Gouramis blue colour.The smaller of the two has part of it's tail missing. Stays mostly at the inflow pipe of filter as if for protection. does not seem to be feeding. Looks perhaps it has it's tail nipped. There were 2 others already in tank one larger than others.
Will it tail grow back if left alone or quarintine?

Yes all bites usually grow back out again finage wise could you tewll me your ratio of male to female to male Gouramis his could be a factor in the fin nipping.
What worry's me is the the way he's hanging near the uptake.
About the only time you are going to get problems is if your fish develope fin rot and have to be treated with chemicals.
Give it some time and it'll be back to normal .
