I've been doing some reorganizing of my thoughts and have found out I want:
1x Bearded Dragon 3x Firebellied Toads 3x Firebellied Newts 1x Green Anole 1x House Gecko 1x Rose Hair Tarantula 1x Rough Green Snake 1x Jeweled Curly Tailed Lizard 5x Purple Pincher Hermit Crabs 2x Leopard Geckos 2x Red Eared Sliders ---Then: 2x Parakeets 1x Calico Guinea Pig [Male] 1x Rabbit [Male] There will more aquariums/ponds..but I'm focusing most on the 75 & 55gal Aquariums right now. Ponds basically take care of themselves! |

Err, there's a lot of species mixing there...
Toads will eat newts - I went to a shop once where they mixed some tree frogs with a firebellied toad, and the tree frogs were 2/3 of the size of the toad and two days later the frogs were hanging out of the toad's mouth! Curly-tails tend to be a little nippy which might annoy the crabs but that setup is definitely more compatible than the other one. Rose hairs are really nice, I have one myself, really cool guys. Just make sure you don't get attacked by them (I did when I first handled mine, it flicked irritating hairs at me, doesn't do that any more.) Also rough greens aren't that small. They grow up to 90cm, so I would recommend a larger viv long term. My collection is pretty small (all turtles are unsexed): 1x painted turtle (who I just found was actually a red bellied cooter) - 5000 gal pond 1x red bellied cooter (who I knew was a red bellied cooter all the time) - 5000 gal pond 2x red eared sliders - 5000 gal pond 1x yellow-bellied slider - 5000 gal pond 1x box turtle - 10 gal pond and small indoor enclosure and outdoor enclosure 2x map turtle juvis, species unknown, to be released in the 5000 gal soon - 10 gal indoors 1x female bearded dragon - 50 gal tank 1x male leopard gecko - 10 gal tank 1x female rough green snake (not juvi, but not fully grown either) - 30 gal tank 1x male sinaloan milk snake (juvi, but this a very small snake even when adult) - 8 gal tank 1x male firebellied toad - 8 gal tank 1x juvi unsexed Chinese Water Dragon - 10 gal tank 1x female chilean rose tarantula - 5 gal tank As for my wanted list: Emperor scorpion, Mexican redknee tarantula, pinktoe tarantula, and some tree frogs. -------------------- Fishpondinfo Chat Room

That's a lot of animals! I thought you were going to try to reduce your animal responsibilities! Also, just because I had my jeweled curlytail lizard in with my hermit crab doesn't mean it's a good idea. My hermit crab is abnormal; Crabby hides under the mulch all the time. I wouldn't mix reptiles with other animals if it can be helped.

Robyn, for now, I'm only dreaming but once I give away some kittens[you want some kittens? LOL] I'm going to work on getting these animals.
A lot of the animal situations I wanted to run them by you guys to make sure that it's possible. I know a Tarantula could actually live comfy in a 5gal...but my Het. Formosa [Least Killifish] colony will live in there. |

Is it just me or did you edit your post and add bearded dragon? Don't remember that last time I looked. Well, anyway, good luck with your beardie! Bearded dragons grow large and require lots of space but are great pets and are easy to care for.
