Have no clue, but I think I have something like it. Can't wait till somebody names it. I planted mine next to a plant I nicknamed JeeperCreeper--now I can't remember the name to that either.

Lobelia has flowers that are closer together on the spikes. I don't think it's that. Although I may be totally wrong.
Does this plant have square stems? If it does that'll verify my guess of Scarlet Sage, Salvia coccinea. -------------------- New Hudson, MI Zone 5b

And the answer is (and I'm not making this up): Hot Lips and it of the salvia (sage) species.
It's a salvia that I found at my local grocery store of all places! I liked the little flowers but never knew how much fun I would get from watching the hummers go after it. That was a nice big suprise. Yes LB the stems are square-ish so your answer was pretty darn close. Good job! |

Sadie there is a ton of different ones as I found out when I did a search. I just got lucky with mine as far as the name goes. Yeah, you would remember Hot Lips.
