I have made a few changes to the forum.
Only members can post but anybody can view the forum. Members must verify their e-mails. Only I can post to this section (notices from Robyn). I have also changed the forum ranks. If you post 30 messages, you become a Fishy Member, 100 is Fishy Lover, and over 500 is Super Fishy. -------------------- Robyn, Former Analytical Chemist, Zone 6/7, Maryland
Servant to 4 cats, 2 rabbits, 3 guinea pigs, 3 chickens, 1 redbellied turtle, 3 freshwater aquariums (65, 50, & 20 gallons), 2 saltwater aquariums (6 and 12 gallon nano cube reefs), 7 outdoor ponds (1800, 153, 50, 30, 20, 20, & 12 gallons), 1 indoor pond (50 gallons, winter only), crickets, mealworms, six-spotted roaches, and hundreds of fish (of about 18+ species), amphibians, snails, shrimp, corals, crabs, worms, and so on in those aquariums and ponds. I changed a few things yesterday (when again hopelessly searching for a way to require a member's first post to be approved; they don't have that option).
I found the emoticons and put them all up as clickable smilies. If anyone has or has made animal-related (fish, frog, etc.) emoticons, you can send them to me so I can add those! I also changed it so that members can alter the titles of the posts that they start. That way, if you misspelled something or meant something else, you can fix it. I thought I saw something different in the little smileys  It's so nice to be able to change the title for typo's as I certainly have made a few.  Thanks for mak(ing) the forum better for us  |
