I know we talked about comments before , but what about silliest



What is the silliest comment or question a non ponder has asked about your pond.

I think my biggest smile came when a friend said, when they saw all the water coming over the falls,

( comment) "BOY ,you must use a lot of water in a year"

So I explained how the water doesn't get used up but gets pumped up from the lower pond and flows back down.

( comment) "Did you think of that idea yourself"

Of Course you might have smarter friends then me. :D

A comment from a blonde lady out walking her dog when the pond was on it's side out in front garden. :lol:

"Your poor kids! You're wasting all that playing space in your garden to have a pond, and you've not even added a few hundred goldfish!"

Like Wayne, I had someone ask how we could use up so much water since they thought the waterfall water was new water and not recirculated.

A number of people have asked what we do with the fish in the winter but I guess that's not too silly a question.

No, because people like me bring them indoors for the winter...I really need to build that big pond! ^_^

One person asked," how I got fire behind the waterfall."

Have you ever heard of such a silly question? :lol: :lol: :lol:

Last week a family member commented "on the amazing amount of water dripping from icicles into my pond. It almost looks like a waterfall!"

This comment came from someone with a Phd in computers!!
