So...My 29 & 10 are on the same table as they sit right now. Eventually, I'm going to buy them their own stands, but whatever.

Well, I noticed something BAD. I have 3 aquariums in my room [my mom has a 2.5 in her room and I have the 55 in the other room], a 1.5gal Cube, the 29 & 10...Yet, for some reason, I have 5 surge protectors going and not all of them are full! Where they are, is my computer table. As most of you know [maybe you don't] I ditched my POS desktop [eMachine W3509) and replaced it with a custom computer that randomly pooped out a while back...so, I just have 1 cord going for my laptop[which is always on my bed]...so, There are cords everywhere all from the aquariums! Anyone else ever have this happen?!

I'm cleaning my room soon, so, I'll re-arrange into 1 strip if I can, but it's craziness! lol

Well, I'm redoing my 29 soon, sooooooo....yeah, I have to clean! I know I'm going to find some Malaysian Trumpet Snails behind my tanks. :( I found a poor Ember Tetra a few days back. :( I haven't had embers since 2007! :blink:

If you think your cords are bad, you should see behind my tanks!

I setup my 29 just a week or 2 after joining here in September of 2007[from a previous 10 that at here...it replaced it] & changed to the black trimmed one in July of 2008! Imagine all the crap behind there...everything from dead plants[cats pulled & ate],cat hair/dust/dead fish/dead snails/& dead ADF's who decided it'd be fun to jump!

Last time I redid my 50 gallon a few years ago and pulled it out from the wall, I found a poor dessicated ADF and realized that's where he went! :-(
The dust back there is only half a inch deep at least where the cats can reach because they're always getting back there.

I moved the couch yesterday and found about 10 cat toys. The cats though it was Christmas!

:( I too lost an ADF last year that literally vanished. :( That really sucked. I was thinking about getting 2 more for my 29.

Robyn, are you gonna get your last froggy a friend? I know he's anorexic, but I was wondering if you are going to restock them???

Funny story about the cat toys! I've done that before. I need some $$ to buy them some new ones they like and the dog will chew on and it not poison or choke her[she likes them as much as the cats do! LOL].

Just can't get away from the cords I believe. That's why I so enjoy the ease of a laptop. No monitor, tower, speaker, modem, wireless cords. The main computer is cluttered with cords everywhere. Then talk about your TV area. You've got receivers, TV itself, DVD, VCR,...then if you have kids, don't forget the XBOX, playstations...it's disgusting.

My last ADF is on his last legs. He's severly anorexic, can barely move, and has lost parts of his feet. I don't plan to get more because that will save me from having to make a special trip to the aquarium store for live blackworms. The other fish don't have to have them whereas the frogs really do.

As an update for my cords, while doing the WC, the main one I pulled and I pulled all the plugs[I didn't unplug it from the wall]...well, as usual, I spilt like half the water on me, but I spit it on the S. P. too meaning it shocked the HECK outta me! The bad thing was that killed it, black smoke came out of it and it's shot. :(

So, Anyways, I replugged in the other 4 quickly, unplugging the smoking one...and I was just barley able to stand for about 2 hours[this was @ 4-ish]..I pulled the laptop down to suffer w/ me. LOL]!

Well, that's 50$ down the drain[it's a nice one that has the battery backup...]. :angry:

My mom doesn't like me keeping them with fish, but, they aren't her tanks, so I do...I just hand feed them. The last one I had got really sick, stopped really moving and then suddenly, LOADED with Fungus! :blink: Obviously, by the time the fungus took over, he was already dead. :(
