Jexan stands at 5'6" and weighing at . She has shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes. She has muscle tone from her dragonriding duties, and is a bit on the slender side from moving around a lot and having a fast metabolism. She has an olive complexion that makes her tan really nicely. She is mostly seen in a tunic and pants. Jexan doesn't usually dress up unless it is for a Gather or Hatching or some other occasion. She has a nice red dress that she keeps at the bottom of her travel trunk and wears that dress for those special occasions. She has a small box at the very bottom of her travel trunk. It’s a nice dark rosewood color with her name engraved on the top. She keeps all of her jewelry in it.

She always wears a simple silver necklace that has her and her life mate’s names engraved on it. She had received it as a gift from her parents. It also has a ring to match. She saves the rest of her jewelry to wear for special occasions. She has a leather belt she wears all the time. It was a gift from her brother before she left when she had been Searched. When she is riding or attending other duties she wears a simple dark copper tunic with black or reddish brown trousers. She likes to wear dark colors and will sometimes be seen in lighter colors during the summer months, when it’s really warm. She has a leather jerkin vest that was dyed to a light yellow coloring that she wears every now and then. The coloring is very close to her life mate’s golden color. It’s her favorite vest.

Personality:
Energetic, dependable, considerate, impatient, hard-worker, fierce temper, and loyal. Jexan is a hard worker and loyal to her family and to Final Haven Weyr, and deeply devoted to Anhayllei. She adores children and hopes to have a few someday. She hopes to find a mate that she could love, trust, talk to, if one exists, one that is not simply interested in just another romp in the furs. She is a very hard worker with a soft voice and an easy smile. She is very serious about her duty as a Dragonrider, and takes Drills seriously. She hides her true feelings from others because she doesn't want anyone to know her mind. She feels that her mind is the only safe place she can retreat to and think things over clearly.

She has a bad temper when she loses it, but there is a long fuse that leads up to the loss of her self control. Jexan does have a temper, but she’s so good-natured that it takes a long while before she does get angry. She values friendship and doesn't like anyone trying to manipulate her for their own reasons. She is tough when it comes to hand to hand combat, and she doesn‘t hold back, usually, when sparring. She has sharp wits and an even sharper mind when dealing with bullies. She has a habit of doing more than her share of chores. She doesn't mind the work and actually uses it as an excuse to be alone. She likes to work alone, unless when the situation calls for more than one body. She isn't afraid to speak her mind and will often listen to a conversation for a bit before saying anything. She is considerate of others, unless they really anger her. When she is in a bad mood she glares at people, whether they are the person she is mad at or not. She doesn't lash out at people when she loses her temper, though she does curse a bit when she does. She hates bullies and people that are arrogant.

She is impatient when people tend to take a while doing one simple task, especially when it prevents her from doing whatever task she is assigned to. She will tap her left foot if she is kept waiting. It is a habit she can’t break. Jexan is a dependable woman. If you ask her to do something, she’ll hardly say no. Even if she doesn’t like the chore or what ever it is that she’s being asked to do. She will never turn down a plea for help. She loves a good joke, even though she can’t telling any herself. Jexan is a calm young woman in the face of disaster. She never lets anything rattle her, except for when she is alone with her Lysanath. She has an aloof manner when she just wakes up and hasn‘t had her cup of fresh klah in the morning. She is friendly and inviting once she’s taken her first sip of the warm and invigorating liquid.

She loves her life mate and their bond is very close. She is afraid of one day losing her beloved Lysanath. She was a bit nervous since graduating from Weyrling Training, but accepts the rank of Dragonrider happily. She has an abundance of energy she uses when she’s attending Wind drills, or just when she‘s talking. She has a habit of speaking a little faster than normal when she’s really excited about something. Jexan has another side to her that comes out only rarely. She is a complete romantic. She doesn’t let it show because she perceives that to be weakness and she has a fear of that. She keeps it under a tight control, though it does manage to show itself when her life mate rises.

Name: Lysanath

Appearance:
Lysanath is on the larger end of the size scale for a Gold. She measures in at exactly 30 feet, with a large wingspan of 53 feet. She has a funnel-like physique, going from her chest to her rump. Despite that, she is well muscled and has very coordinated movements. Her head is narrow and large, but holds the delicateness of a female dragoness. Her coloring is typical for a Gold, bright gold but blending into a darker gold coloring on her snout, a good two feet of her tail end, her wing edges with a few vertical lines, and her feet. Her feet, though, looks like she has dark gold socks on them. Her tail is long and not very thick, but it does hold a good amount of thickness to help her in flight and not be a hinderance, and is very whip-like.

Her legs are not the thickness as opposed to a larger dragon, but is typical of the size for a small or medium Gold. All in all, she is a very beautiful, well proportioned Gold Dragon. Her hide has a glossiness to it, though not making her too shiny. Just a slight glossiness. Another noticeable feature for Lysanath is her wings. Her wings are large for her size. Though they are large, they do not hinder her in flight. Rather, they are large and narrow, making her a bit fast for a Gold. As well as her hide having dark points on her hide, there is a large spot on her hide that is very light. Her stomach is lighter than the rest of her, but only in minute shades, and hardly noticeable unless standing close to her.

Personality:
Calm, maternal, serene, and reserved. Lysanath is not as boisterous or loud as one might think a Gold Dragonet might be as a baby. But Lysanath is calm. To someone that doesn't know her, nothing seems to phase her one bit. She takes everything, including change, in stride and strives to get her Rider, Jexan, to do as she does and just accept that things are the way they are for a reason. Nothing rattles her nerves, unless you harm her rider. Then you’ll see a fierce and protective gold dragon. She’s more of the motherly sort, though, when she has a clutch on the sands. She is protective of her clutch but she thoroughly enjoys it when the Candidates come onto the sands to view her eggs. She'll be quite motherly towards other dragons too, including her clutchmates, trying to help straighten up their attitude. 'Pardon me, but what did you just say? Well that's entirely inappropriate for a lovely little blue such as yourself! Is that…? Oh no dear, you must get cleaned up at once, you're quite a mess with that mud."

She'll be full of compliments and flattery, trying to show others just how wonderful they are, and that rowdy and silly behavior is just unnecessary. Lysanath is bossy, but rather politely so, even without the courtesy of please and thank you. If a green is out of formation, her message is a gentle, 'you need to be a wingspan left,' which allows no opposition but also offers no insult. She knows she’s a gold and deserves respect, but she’s not one to command respect she knows she must earn. And she constantly tells her life mate the same thing. She will on occasion tease her rider about this or that. She just loves to get her rider riled about one subject or another just to do it, because she knows she can. She is a hard working dragon and does her best to do what is asked by her rider. A bit of a goof off at times, and she loves to spook hers when she’s in the mood. She will offer her opinions, but only to her rider. She is obedient to dragons that are older than her. They are older and more experienced, after all.

Vigilant, meticulous, and controlled. Lysanath is vigilant when it comes to her duty as a Dragon Threadfall and Wing Drills. And she expects her rider to be the same. She will snip at her rider if hers doesn't show the same attention to when and where Threadfalls. She takes it seriously when they are to fly. Though sometimes, she does prefer to be bound to the Weyr, where she can offer help in directing firestone sacks to the Rider that needs one in during a Fall. In every aspect of her duty as a Gold, she is very meticulous in gathering needed information. Though, sometimes, she does get a little bit, some of it, or almost all of the information wrong sometimes. No matter what happens during a fall, whether she's up flying herself or on the ground, if hers or another dragon gets injured, she doesn't panic. She is in control and doesn't let her emotions get the better of her while she's doing her duty. And this holds true even during Wing Drills.

Flirtatious, seductive, and cunning. When she is in flight, she truly shines. She is flirtatious as a green, when she's in a mating flight, and loves to pull stunts while in the air. Though sometimes, her stunts get her into trouble, once the flight is over, but it doesn't stop her from doing more the next time she's up in the air with males chasing. She is quite the seductive dragoness before her flight. She's all charm and coyish behavior, drawing every male in with sweet promises of being 'The One' to win her flight. Though, she never lets the same bronze win every flight, unless she really likes the bronze. She is very cunning when she's up in a flight. She uses everything she can think of to foil her suitors. Hiding in clouds, diving right at the chasing males, banking left or right, or to skim close to the ground. Anything she can think of, she'll do it. She even gets hints and tips from her rider to help determine who is the most worthiest to catch her.

The soft and soothing whispers of a lullaby; golden throated and smooth, it has all the markings of a mother easing her child to sleep. Pleasant with hardly the sharp word or pointed remark, she will be last to raise her voice. She feels there is more power in what words you are saying than how they are projected and as such each word she uses is purposeful and chosen for the situation. Should she so resort to yelling or shouting it will be the voice of exasperation cracking under stress; frustration apparent, but never the signs of anger or malice. Soft-spoken as she may be, in private conversation her words ooze a quiet confidence that are often missed or unheard in everyday banter.
