Dark Knight: Baptized in blood and shadow, consecrated in the fires of war, Dark Knights are arguably one of the most terrifying things you will ever see. They stalk the battlefields, ripping through their foes in a wash of blood and terror, and all whom dare cross blades with a Dark Knight will meet a sad--and most likely, pitiful--end.
However, their power stems from an unhealthy source--themselves. Sacrificing a bit of blood, a bit of their souls, they can use powerful magicks and attack with unearthly strength. However, the more powerful they get, the less of themselves they have left--and they have a resistance to White Magic, making its effects on them weaker. Many a Dark Knight has fallen, a withered and empty corpse, after too long a fight.
"I bleed for you. I hurt for you. I suffer for you. I die for you. In Darkness, do I serve."
---The Baron Creed
Gambler: Free-spirited, blackjack playing, chip hustling, money-grubbing scoundrels who spend more than enough time in a Casino to gain a reputation, Gamblers are the literal "wild cards" of the Worlds. They fight dirty, preferring trickery and sleight of hand to out and out brawling, and always like to keep a getaway vehicle in tow.
Gamblers tend to be perfectly capable of retiring with their wealth intact--but they find no joy in quiet boredom, but instead get their kicks by trying to outdo themselves with greater and grander schemes, trickery and cons. A skilled Gambler can bankrupt an entire Casino--without laying down a single bet.
"Ha! How low can you get?! I love it! Alright, I'll help you. My life is a chip in your pile! Ante up!"
Engineers: Grease Monkeys, Scientists, Madmen, Engineers will do anything to get their hands on the perfect blueprint--or else, design their own. Scruffy, goggle-clad men of science, an Engineer doesn't care for anything more then whatever it is they're currently working on. An Engineer can study and research almost anything--their knowledge is second to none, which makes them viable allies when venturing into the unknown.
Engineers fight with a variety of gadgets and tools--ranging from the normal (chainsaw) to the bizarre (Sonic cannons?) and the more outlandish the weapon, the more appealing it is to an Engineer. Engineers are not always scruffy grease-monkeys. Indeed, one King of a distant country was heralded as a mechanical warrior, who built a castle that moved under the earth itself...
"Broke the Fire ship? No problem, we'll build a new one!"

Paladin: Holy Warriors, a Paladin is best known for being an unstoppable wall of strength, a pillar of righteousness, and a pious warrior who serves others before himself. Infallbile, 2-dimensional, and deadly when provoked, Paladins are always a good ally to have on your side...and a dangerous enemy to contend with.
Alas, some Paladins take their jobs too far. Many theocracies employ Paladins (who sometimes take different titles) to ensure that "heretical" voices are silenced. Paladins often serve as judges for crimes, and executioners for criminals, giving their image a cold, deadly edge. Paladins are most skilled with the sword and shield, and can also wield White Magic--though, not as well as White or even Red Mages.
"Let the light of the Crystals illuminate your path! Faram!"
