Ophelia landed lightly in the middle of a massive charcoal black canvas. It seemed as if this place is...or rather was the middle of a few towns that lived nearby each other. She took hesitant steps, afraid that even though the land that had been fried to a crisp, she’d still hurt the soil further with her steps. So she kept her wings out and instead of walking, flew lightly above the ground. Although her wings did not extend to its full and massive size, her wings were still about a good measurement of 14 feet each. Amazingly enough, no angel felt the weight of their wings, they were, funny to say, as light as a feather. As she lightly flew, even the gentle gusts of her wings sent the dirt underneath her feet to lift. She hoped that with the black dust and ashes gone, there would be new life growing out...but as she looked, she saw no such luck. Everything was charred to about six feet under.

She lifted her head, looking all around her, seeing only masses of black land surround her. Only in the far distance did she see some lingering trees, even then, they were dead trees, moaning against the light weight of the blowing wind. Tears began to form on her eyes. No wonder God had resorted to sending her to Fallen. This planet was in dire need of an Angel’s touch. She was Ophelia Whitewater of Heaven...the best healer there was up there, and she had a knack for nature. Let’s just say, she had a gift for such things. She helped heal the Angel’s upstairs, when they had befallen a magical ill, or was wounded during a mission. And all of the surrounding nature up there in Heaven was all tended by her. Every luscious, green, healthy plant was taken care of by her. In return for her caring, they provide herbs for her magic, healing rites and herbal medicine for the Angels and her healings.

So as she looked around her, at all the dead plants and beings, tears had formed and she had cried. She looked all around her, it would take a bit of her magic and lots of time to revive this part of the land. But that was only this part of the entire planet. Up from Heaven, this planet did not look so big, but images, looks, seemings were always deceiving. She fell onto her knees and wiped the tears form her eyes with her arm like a little child. Well, she was still considered a child upstairs. Even though she is a few thousand years old, she was still a young Angel, and there were plenty, meaning plenty of Angels up there that were older than her; though they all respected her for her gifts. She sat softly in the dead land, digging her hands deep into the soil and could feel all the pain and misery from that dead piece of soul from Mother Nature; she wept along with the moaning of the wind in the charred grounds.

Who could have hurt you all like this? Who could be so heartless to destroy such a beauty of the universe?

Her voice was soft and light but the questions were piercing and full of hurt. There were only such species that came to her mind when this kind of destruction was amidst. Demons. She bit her bottom lip in frustration and let a few more tears fall. She could not do anything, she was not a fighter, she was a healer and never in her Angelic days did she ever inflict hurt and pain to anyone. Hence why she had never ever been sent away from Heaven on a mission, unless it was truly and utterly needed of her to heal a world. She looked around her and sighed...this was exactly that. She expanded her wings lightly and carried herself to the center of the crate, sitting down exactly the way she had when she was at the edge of the destruction circle, head down, looking at the black cold ground, with tears emitting from her eyes.

She took a shaky breath and placed her hands palms down onto the ground and tried to breath, to meditate and calm her mind. The clouds of sorrow in her heart still remained, but at least the clouds of misery were parted from her mind. Her hands began to glow a bright light as she slowly began to work her magic on the land, trying her hardest to bring back the luxurious life that was taken away from here.

Jude meandered around the edge of the black wasteland, in furious thought as to whether or not he should explore it. He eyed the black ground and took it as an ominous sign to stay away, yes his curiosity was in fierce conflict with his instincts. He kept moving along the edge, unable to make up his mind. After a while he stopped and sat down. After sitting for a while still lost in thought, he took out a bag full of an illicit smokable plant and engaged in the act of smoking it. After about half an hour of this, he stood up. His curiosity finally got the best of him. He put his illicit materials away, lit up a cigarette, and ventured into the black wastes.

She sensed a human nearby and immediately stopped her magic flow. She lightly wiped the corners of her eyes to dry up the rest of her tears for Nature. She looked up and along the edges of the crater, where she saw a human male. She sneezed lightly as the smoke from his cigarette and the lingering smells of his smoke-able plant traveled into her nose. She rubbed her nose lightly and seeing as her skin was white as snow, it turned a light pink color. Her wings lifted her up into a standing motion, but she still hovered about an inch or so off the ground. She steadily approached the male that was walking into the wasteland. She looked back at where she was sitting and saw a very small circular patch of clear dirt, where a single little stem was struggling to pop up. She smiled and turned back towards the male.

A few feet away and she stayed there, suspended in the light air. She was very shy for herself, and so she was nervous when she walked near him. As she got near, her sneezes became more continuous because the smoke was too much for her. She pulled out a handkerchief and lightly rubbed her nose. Now that she was a mere few feet away from the guy, she smiled nervously and cleared her throat, which, was still a small and delicate sound.

Um....hello there mortal being.....do...do you know what happened here?

She was not used to speaking well with mortal beings. Up in Heaven, she did not need to strike up light conversations for Angels did not need to say much, all of Heaven was always filled with rich, harmonic, melodious, relaxing music. So all of this was foreign to her and she hoped that even being a majestic being as an Angel, she did not seem a fool.

Jude, at first, was quite taken aback at this celestial being conversing with him. He hadn't seen many angels in his time, and this was frankly his first time talking to one. He was simply speechless for a second or so before he composed himself.
"Well, the best answer I can give is demons. I'm not really sure, I'm afraid. I only just arrived here."
He wondered for a second if smoking was a rude thing to do in front of an angel. So, he snuffed it on the ground and returned the half smoked cigarette to the cigarette box. He then wondered if that was also a rude thing to do, and he quickly scatted the ashes from the cigarette with his foot, only to once again work himself up as to the politeness of such an action and promptly stopped. He was once again at a loss as to what his next action should be. Should he say something? Would it be rude not to? This was all quite serious business in his mind at the moment and it was making him slightly distressed, although he did a good job at making it as subtle as possible, which he found to be acceptably polite.

She lowered herself a bit more so that her feet touched the ground and when she did, the black dust of ash from the crater was blown away and the soil returned to its more healthy form. She smiled lightly; it looked better, but she still has much work to do to bring back the luscious plants. She sighed when she had heard the male, so her suspicions were true, it was a demon. She closed her eyes and shook her head lightly; she was not a warrior Angel, though she had passed every test up there for battle. Her best trait was an archer, but she dared not to hurt a soul, only if it were the only possible means of danger.

She watched silently as the male try to stuff out his smoke-able plant. It was a strange sight to see plants being used that way, but it must not be good for their mortal bodies. She wondered why these souls would do things to damage their bodies, though they don’t outlive themselves anyhow. She saw him try to kick the ashes away but she stopped him. Her gentle and light hands caught as mush of the ash as possible and motioned for him to follow her to the center of the crater, where she was sitting before. Once she got there, she set the ashes along with the soil, mixing them together with her hands, not afraid to get them dirty. Then she plunged her hands into the soil and her hands glowed a bright golden color. She could feel her magic pulsing in the Earth’s ground trying to coax the plants to pop out early. Soon there were sprouts coming out the ground and in rapid speed they grew and grew!

Some became tall trees that went to 40 feet high, they were surrounded by trees and herbal bushes, flowers, leaves falling fast around them and everything was a swirl of healthy deep green and soon the place became a mini forest. She smiled and thought there was something missing; she thought for moment and figured it out. She flew to the sky and used her magic to create a trail onto the ground, a trail leading up to the mountain and leading down to anywhere else. The trail then was filled with crystal clear, pure and sweet water; and up in the mountains was a huge and soundful waterfall. She landed back next to the human and smile lightly.

They call me Angel Whitewaters up in Heaven, mostly for my powers of nature. But others that don’t know me may call me Ophelia.

Jude stared in amazement as Ophelia returned life to the desolate landscape. He'd heard of the feats angels were rumored to preform but he never thought he'd see anything like this. He continued to stare even as she introduced herself, and finally stopped once he realized how impolite it was to stare.
" My name is Jude Landon. It's a pleasure to meet you, Angel Whitewaters. I mean, Ophelia."
He bowed awkwardly. Being in the presence of an angel made him noticeably nervous.

~Zero's floating castle

" Is that an Angel I feel the presence of? Hmmm, I see, it looks like the young angel has come to heal Fallen, heheheheh, perfect timing to see an angel again after I had to save Yayoi from them up there, more of stole her than saved, but those are the brakes, and heaven probably is still not too happy with me, hahahaha. "

-Zero fades out from view, within the the dark chambers of his castle sitting in his ornate metal throne that was magically floating-

GAH! The closer I get to that presence the weaker I get, heh, heh, heh, guess the darkness in my heart cannot get near this Angel...... Time to go Guni, meet you back at home,

"Mine is the shade that's walking Behind...Mine are the Footsteps you never will Find Try to Outrun me, it still is the Same...I am the Hunter...You are the Game."
"Till we meet again just a wait in time."
