sadly i don't have enough time for testing it sufficiently.
just got to lvl 4 doing 3 to 11 damage + 2 fire dam + 3 ice dam + 2 toxic dam and killing everything.

i like trisbos being so simillar to tristram.

the random levels work fine and the whole item/drope thing works fine to (allready
got a nice rare weapon and a ass kicking charm).

i used the w,a,s,d moving a lot, it's very handy to avoid enemy missiles and
preserves your mouse hand from clicking itself to death.

didn't found any bugs til now. but the numbers are sometimes hard to read.

Is not a bug .. but i mean mobs/add are to passive. you can shout them before they are with u and u can kill them from long range and they dont move. they should move little more around.. But good games i love it.

found the first bug:

on the last phobos station level one of the two bosses troped a armour (hazmat suit)
but its only equipable as weapon.

EDIT:

hm.. when im shooting at zombies they always start to move, but may be they
could really use a bigger sight radius. but well, think game balancing is something
for later versions.

is the life leech not working or am i doing to less damage?

Im on level 12 so far, must say its very cool, only thing missing is really the music and perhaps a bit of some rare, elite and that sort of monsters.

The 2 dudes, cant remember the name that shoots the green stuff, i somehow got to follow me to the far right and get stuck in close range almost on top of me, meaning they didn shoot, but i was also stuck in them, but i could kill em.

So far the shotgun ammo looks to be okay, there is a bit to much of the normal ammo, at level 12 i have around 3300 gun / minigun ammo, just cant use it, maybe the minigun should use a bit more of it, and the drop / spawn turned down just a bit smile.gif

else very good work.

I finally got to the last level in hell and got the boss down, which was pretty cool.

i ended up being level 21. and had a ton of ammo, i ended with

bullets: 3533
shells: 1523
rockets: 160
cells: 110

So rockets and shells are fine amount, maybe alittle more, though the requirements on rocket launcher and later shotguns were to high, never got to use them.

the stats also seems a bit buggy i was at 70 str at some point, yet i couldn use a weapon that had requirement 61str.

Minigun is a bit to powerful hands down, i found that i used that after i got a purple "nailgun" all the time. even then i still had so many bullets smile.gif

with the limited inventory space i might be nice with some other place to store the weapons, maybe a weapons belt slots of somekind, that can hold one of each weapon perhaps.

else i found that the exits down to next levels, more than often where right at the entrance, which imo should happen so often, ofcourse it is random, but for me it happened most of the time.

im not sure if its possible, but to bring back the keycard areas, you might not have to go through them, maybe be to hard to program, but they could be optional, places where you might get cool weapons, more ammo and such, would also encourage exploring to find that yellow, red og blue keycard and check out said area.

else im just missing the music, and maybe some coop feature and ofcourse settings for difficuly when play said coop smile.gif

Great game. What I noticed is that it's a little too easy. The AI isn't aggressive enough. You never run out of ammo, actually end up with a couple thousand at the end of the beta.

I've noticed some enemies stuck in the stairs to other levels, not really a game breaking bug but it can throw somebody off. The game is VERY gear dependent. Starting a new game it can be difficult to progress smoothly if the drops aren't in your favor, but it can also be permenant easy mode if you score an amazing weapon early on. It seems that life leach only works on unique items. I've tested life leach out with powerups and it wasn't doing its job, but with a unique weapon I was getting the benefit.
All in all it's a great game. I don't have any real complaints except for the lack of music and the iffy wasd control. If there's a way you can smooth gameplay out using wasd please do, it really makes the game more enjoyable.

What I'd like to see in the future releases.
-Random mini boss encounters like the Diablo series.
-Give enemies a more unique feeling. Ex. Make the pinky move faster so it won't feel like a zombie clone.
-Skills/magic. Perhaps even integrate a soul cube mechanic where the more kills you get the more powerful skill you can dish out.
-More cosmetic changes to the player. Ex. Equip a chaingun, wield a chaingun ect ect. I've seen doom sprites that have done this if that helps you out any.

First I must say, I am deeply impressed with the progress made from the first release. Secondly, yes, the game kicks ass.

I have a few things that I would like to point out, as well as a couple of bugs to report.

Firstly, as someone else mentioned, the exits down to next levels appeared very often at the entrance. 1 out of 3 times for me, at least.

Also mentioned, it felt as if the game was a bit too easy. I would definitely like to see more enemies, and some enemies buffed(pinky). Also, in my opinion, bullets, health packs and magic items dropped too often.

As for the technical part, I noticed major cursor-lag from time to time, mainly in fifth-levels of all stages. My computer is a 3500+ amd with a radeon x800 graphics-card. If my system is not good enough to run the game, I apologize.

Some minor bugs i noticed were;

Stats not working:
- life leech(on charms, someone mentioned it worked on magic weapons)
- thorns(charms, powerups)
- bonus to light radius

Monsters get stuck inside cubicals of walls:

Bonus % to damage seems to be calculated wierdly, adding way to much damage if you have multiple items with bonuses, and also, this happened:

My damage kept on increasing until i removed the armor.

(Hope the links work, I'll upload them elsewhere if they don't)

Finally, It feels as if plasmarifle-shots sometimes don't register. Is there an intentional % chance to miss on these weapons? Also, some magic plasma-rifles sounds like handguns when fired.

I will return with more bugs to report, if i stumble upon any.

What i would like to see in future releases:
Pretty much all that Codine mentioned, and also:
-More enemies overall
-Minimap
-Classes

I apologize for any grammatic errors, english is not my native language.

And oh, yes, nailgun is way overpowered =D

Actually, those items you see "demanding a huge amount" are in fact asking for, like in your screenshot, 14.20. Strange bug indeed.

I found a bug where you can walk through the cave entrance on the surface if you hols left mouse on the roof beyond the entrance.

To compensate the ammunition drops, perhaps decrease the amount of ammo that gets dropped as well as vastly increase the number of enemies in later levels.

I think the minigun (and nailgun, oh God) should have a spin-up period to add a bit more balance.

Also, I noticed when I saved right next to a staircase I'd get teleported up a level. It's a minor thing but rather strange.

here is the nailgun, it might not have super dmg when you look at it, but i tell you, that its speed more than make up for that, its crazy, Wooooow biggrin.gif

btw, have we gotten any word on what colors mean? i mean is the purple like legendary or sort like that, i have another item that was like the Diablo 2 rare, a bronze kind of color, perhaps that was unique.

As i recall, there was a graphics glitch that made it look like 14.20 on the screenshot, but it was actually 1420. You could be right though, I'm not sure ^^ That actually makes more sense when I think of it, since the text probably would have shown in red if it was indeed demanding 1420, and you would probably be unable to use it.
