And I came up with a rough draft of it. I'm gonna have to rework it to work with the current stats of the beta version, although I'm posting the rough draft to give you an idea of what I was thinking of. I was going to add class notes, but I never got around to it in the end. I might actually look ay the original Diablo and Diablo II to see what they do as well, to see if I missed anything...
Grunt Strength: 10/10 (Getting up-close and personal has done wonders for your strength) Attack: 10/10 (You can put on the hurt) Accuracy: 5/10 (You know that scoring a hit is important, but if you have a big gun, accuracy doesn't matter too much) Stamina: 7/10 (Being a first-line troop means that you tend to run around a lot in heavy gear) Speed: 3/10 (Gives your enemies a chance to run away from you, although they don't last long anyway) HP: 8/10 (You can take a lot of damage) Healing: 5/10 (You can take care of yourself) Repair: 5/10 (Keeping weapon in enough repair so it can fire is important... how it looks doesn't matter too much) Wisdom: 4/10 (Killing is what you do... so long as you have a good weapon, who cares about anything else?) Class notes: Medic Strength: 3/10 (carrying those medkits won't do much for your physique) Attack: 4/10 (Trained to an average standard of combat) Accuracy: 4/10 (Not seeing much combat means that accuracy won't be the best but you can hit things... usually) Stamina: 6/10 (You can last a while) Speed: 8/10 (You need to move fast to save lives!) HP: 10/10 (You know how to keep yourself in excellent health) Healing: 10/10 (What sort of medic would you be if you couldn't heal?) Repair: 5/10 (Your training allows you to keep your weapon working.) Wisdom: 8/10 (Knowing how to reattach someone's arm is rather important, don't you think?) Class notes: Tech Strength: 7/10 (Lifting heavy equipment does have its uses!) Attack: 5/10 (Trained to an average standard of combat) Accuracy: 6/10 (Testing out new weapons has brought you some benefits) Stamina: 6/10 (You can last a while) Speed: 5/10 (You can move fast enough) HP: 6/10 (You don't tend to be on the firing line often) Healing: 5/10 (You can take care of yourself) Repair: 10/10 (You know how to keep your weapon working at peak efficiency.) Wisdom: 10/10 (Knowing how things work comes naturally to you.) Class notes: Commando Strength: 5/10 (You don't need to carry a lot usually) Attack: 8/10 (Enemies fear your killing ability) Accuracy: 10/10 (One shot, one kill) Stamina: 8/10 (Sometimes you need to wait a while to make a kill) Speed: 10/10 (When you have to move, you move fast!) HP: 4/10 (You don't get shot at... much) Healing: 6/10 (Self-sufficiency is important to someone like you) Repair: 6/10 (Self-sufficiency is important to someone like you) Wisdom: 7/10 (Knowing where to shoot can mean the difference between a kill or no kill) Class notes: Edit: I decided to do it out of 10 in terms of a ratio system, as doing things out of 10 was easier than saying Good, Bad, etc and allows me to betterexpress slight differences with the classes. The reqrite will take the starting stats into account, when I work out what the damage types are >.> The figures may be a little unproportionate too, but again, it's a rough drasft and I'm working with more appropriate/realistic figures now. |
