Talvisota:Icy Hell
Im just asking if anyone have played this strategic game made by Blitzfront Game Studio.
I have played it bit on my friends place. Since I never played Blitzkrieg it was quite out of my league, quite fast moving action, so much going on and you can even seen all of it same time. Chaotic, also objectives and how to accomplish (like destroy bridge with engineers. What engineers and where?) them left my puzzled.
If I would have time to take better look on it, maybe then it could make some sense and could be good game. I bet its dynamite to all Blitzkrieg fans.
I'm biazed because I'm not a huge fan of RTS, the thing is though that the development team has taken some historical bias into it so everything is not 'as it happened' (so I heard), and the missions are very scripted (so I heard, again) to make them go like they did in reality..
I agree that the missions in the game are too scripted and sometimes i get frustrated for stuff like entrenched infantry are to weakly defended and that there are annoying missions you have to complete, otherwise you lose the entire mission.
At first that game seemed interesting and well made but after a few weeks i quit playing it, for me it's too micromanaging.
So that's why i like FPS games better, you control 1 guy, simple as that.
