- the ground and main floor of pss is immaculate, if a little reminiscent of a hospital. the floors and walls share the same dull white colour, streaked through with the school colours of red and blue. the main foyer branches off into divided wings: family studies in the east, and humanities in the west with the gorgeous fully appointed auditorium taking center stage.

- the second floor is always the busiest, narrow hallways being shared by the art, english and languages departments. while banners quoting famous figures in various languages litter the walls of the languages hallway, the smell of paint and rhythmic hum of live music always remain apparent.

- lovingly dubbed 'the nerd floor', this floor serves as residence for the math and sciences departments. the walls in the math hallway display equations in various colours of spray paint, though the fumes unmistakably emanate from the science hallway. oh, and the spontaneous explosions too.

- the quietest and most secluded part of the school, the fourth floor houses the tech wing: auto, computer sciences, and woodworking. constant echoes bounce softly between the walls, a combination of sawhorses whirring, distant laughter and the punching of computer keys.

ADMINISTRATION WING
- some of the most dreaded places in the school are contained here, in the least popular sector pss has to offer. there's the office, with it's long line of students awaiting detention and late slips. and the guidance office that even respected shrinks would turn away from. for the staff however, a safe haven serves in the form of the teacher's lounge, where the pss faculty can badmouth their oh so precious students safely.

ATHLETICS COMPLEX
- so, parry sound secondary? they take their athletics program sort of seriously, containing both outdoor and indoor olympic swimming pools, pristine football field and basketball courts, and a fitness room filled with top of the line equipment. sure it may seem like a bit much, but the school's benefactors don't really believe in putting a price on physical health.

COURTYARD ET CETERA

THE LAKE DISTRICT
- a popular destination for tourists, the lake district may as well be considered the icing on the cake in parry sound during the summer season. many cottages and prestigious mansions border this outskirt of town, though the real spectacles are the sandy beaches and the abundant waters of georgian bay.

THE MAIN STREETS
- the area between seguin boulevard and james street is pretty much as close as the sound comes to a main intersection. an array of all-purpose stores, coffee shops and restaurants line both respectively, situated all comfy cozy along hills and while picturesque, isn't exactly a favourite hang out location.

THE HARBOURFRONT
- you didn't think a town situated on one of the great lakes wouldn't have a harbour, did you? the storage place is good for stashing a yacht or two, though its real purpose serves for hosting parties. adding to the scenery is also look-out tower too, perfect for a little alone time for those who don't mind rude graffiti and long flights of stairs.

THE UNDERBELLY
- small town or not, every city is guilty of maintaining their own little den of debauchery and sin. parry sound really isn't that much different. the underbelly remains scattered throughout the town with it's shady bars, explicit nightclubs, and even the occasional strip joint. while it certain areas may seem overcrowded, it's still a bangin' place to spend a saturday night. if only for the cheap and plentiful supply of alcohol and drugs.
