HOW DO I AWFF?

It would be cool for it to be like the old days, but I think they are gone forever..I really haven't been at Gaming Union much which is technically what AWFF turned into, I don't know what kind of remnant is there. I lost contact with lots of people especially old AWFFers.

It certainly does deserve it, though, if people can be collected. Meph I guess you could say has the rights to the name but as far as I know doesn't use it for anything.

well, most of us who decided to join GU are few and far in between. I think I'm the only regular at GU that was regularly active on AWFF, but from time to time, I see people pop in and out, such as flashback, Kev, Lefty, and and a few others.

We'd ultimately return to the question of "what would we do there". I love me some nostalgia and all, but likely the same pattern would repeat; it would stagnate as did NTGS and as FFR is now. The few of us who post what we're doing once a month are really the only ones keeping that memory alive.

With that being said, 1) I do hate the sterility of social networking sites like Facebook, and 2) I wasn't a fan of GU. Both of those reasons would be ample enough for me to help start something different again; something very simple though (NTGS was too ambitious, in retrospect), enough for us to keep in touch with one-another and share what we're all doing with our lives at random intervals. Like if we built a forum with only the "Off-Topic" section.

Also, off-topic, but: Gin, what's your nationality?

I thought so. I saw Children of Bodom live a little while ago, and since they hail from Sweden, I was like, "I wonder if Gin listens to them..."
