Chocobo Ranch
A small ranch, located to the south of Midgar. Here, an elderly man and his grandson raise Chocobos. They also offer a room to weary travellers.

Zolom Marshes
A vast marsh lies just to the east of the Chocobo Ranch. The area is guarded by a giant Serpent, known as the Midgar Zolom.
