Okay Silas, whatever you do, don't leave your protection circle. Oh wait, you're a bad guy... um...

The mighty Demon Doggy is just angry because he's so misunderstood! Go give him a nice big hug for us, yeah? Tickle behind the ear, scratch his belly, give him a chew-stick the length of a car, he'll love ya for it.

God spelled backwards is dog. Apparently this is insightful.

I mean, woah man. Woah.

I'm surprised that the leader of a cult of deception is honestly claiming that he summoned the dog. couldn't he just...y-know, DECEIVE the Daemon into thinking our heroes were at fault?

Not that I want our heroes to be dismembered, it just seems a little odd that the great Silas Morth is taking to honesty in this situation. ^_^

The Dog of War.

Hey, maybe there's light in this dark tunnel? Maybe the Cerberus will go through Morth's shield and use him as a chew toy?

Which, East will conveniently have recorded and uploaded on his YouTube Channel (Or VooDooTube/whatever.) :)

Just for reference: Assuming this particular GD serves a particular Dark God, which one would it be serving under? Or are there "unattached" GDs out there?

I think it's safe to say it serves under The Hound.

Because, y'know, he's angry. And violent.

And red.

And a dog.

I wonder if Clifford is a satan-dog working for The Hound?

I wonder if there is a steak large enough to keep that Cerberus happy because it looks like it will eat both Morth and our "heroes" in one bite.

Three bites, technically.

I was thinking that; but then the writers are only ever obvious when it suits them. :)

Addendum: Rogue's comment suggests a GD warrants a response a bit more stiff than four Inquisitors (well, OK, two Inqs, and two hirelings) with handguns; so what is the "by the book" response to a GD showing up?

Hello,

I recently went on an archive binge, and I have to say I love your comic! It keeps getting more interesting.

The heroes (loosely speaking, but they *are* a force for good. Relatively. :P) are good characters. They have interesting, snarky, personalities that work well for people trying to defend and survive in the insane world you've come up with.

Furthermore, your Morth character makes an interesting villain. I suppose he thinks he is smart enough to get away with it, but it does seem a little insane to think that serving the god of malevolent backstabbery can end well, even by his standards.

Anyway, I look forward to reading more.

Also, with regards to the current situation with the hound's demon:

If I had to guess, while this won't serve Morth's main purposes, for someone ruling a cult of scheming plotters he seems like he would have the wits to point the demon at the other guys.
