Ah good, we're still calling it the Magic Bookend. We're good with what to call it now. I hope they don't discover the CABAL Unit in there... if they do, it's almost like giving them NEW information... right? =/ This post has been edited by Crowley on Apr 16 2012, 11:35 AM |

This is Virus' Cabal unit we're talking about. It probably just has some fonts and custom brushes for photoshop on it.

Movie references, title drops, reluctant admissions of professional effort, but it's not like I can come up with anything clever to say in response.
Oh, I know. I'll just say something like, "Virus may finally be getting a break and doing something impressive, but come next comic somebody will probably shoot him in the tail, so he'd better not get his hopes up that sodding wanker". |

Good to see Virus getting into some of the action. Now he looks cool shooting his gun, and he is showing promise as an infiltrator withthe whole Cabal unit stashing.
Congrats Virus! Your "Cool Moment" has presented itself! ^_^ |

Every idiot protagonist needs his sporadic moments of hidden brilliance :)
And fuck the coroners. I'm a let the dead bury the dead sort of person. |

Too bad Virus will never have his time to shine in the sky, too. Unless, by exploding. ;)

I quite like that the setting, including clothes, seems normal in comparison to the characters: while Silv is pretty class at costume design, he does to tend to lean more towards Final Fantasy than 'My Office Job is Quite Violent'. =P |

So: The character who runs a shop full of Random Crap is a *DUNG BEETLE*.
I didn't think he had the makings of a Professional Punslinger. "You have done well, my young apprentice...." >;) |

CABAL's got pretty secure user access. As I described in another thread, CABAL is part applied theology. It probably reads your soul instead of your fingerprint. More psiometrics than biometrics. |

That's kind of cool in a really invasive way. Gotta wonder: how does having your soul read feel? Still, at least that means that the CABAL is not going to be a liability. We hope. |

Gingers are actually the highly-sought-after hackers in the world. Undetectable by any modern psiometric system, they can slip in and out of high-level CABAL segments at will. |

I would've thought they would be the psiometric equivalent of a wild card. |

Such people exist in real life? Thats damn scary, knowing how everything is so dependent on computers today.

What, gingers? Yes, they exist. I am one. I have ginger hair. (Joking aside, NO idea what you're going on about.) |

I would just like to point out: Yes, as a matter of fact, we *are* outright ignoring Eastwood's incredibly ancient and hackneyed '80s movie reference, in order to discourage him from making any more of them. :)
