I just meant I personally didn't find Amnesia scary. I know some people did, and good for you (sort of? I mean I get that's the point of horror games, to be scared but being scared is bad) but maybe I'm less shaken up by horror games. I do jump and it's a tense atmosphere, but scary...no, not really for me personally. Different strokes and what not. No one will make you play it hon.
Going vaguely offtopic here, I think horror movies are good if done well though they're not my favourite ones. Plot and characters, not "Oh here's five dozen assholes who we're going to senselessly murder." That's not scary, that's torture porn and I'm not into that. I'd try Psychonauts and Limbo but otherwise, nothing appeals to me at the moment to buy the bundle. It's less of a "want these games" and more "eh, heard good things about it." I have overspent my game budget this month anyway and picking up two copies of Saints Row in the sale didn't help matters (second one was for my cousin's birthday). (also Lothar, you're welcome if we made it so you could enjoy L4D2. Gonna need to play more of that I think ^_^ ) |

The Humble Bundle V has added Lone Survivor, Super Meat Boy, and Braid to the the "Beat the Average" games. If you already bought the bundle, the games are already available to you.

I think that's the case with a lot of these things now. All the Indie Bundles they put up on the Steam sales have ones I'd like, but it's just one out of five games I've already gotten either individually or in bundles.

Hey, if your PC is up to snuff, give Blacklight Retribution a run.

I didn't bother getting the Space Marine DLC as it was all skins for co-op or multiplayer.
I did get all the Imperial Guard DLC items for Retribution tho. Sides, that's Daxmort. He doesn't buy a game, he buys ALL THE GAMES> |

Is it considered blasphemy if I say that there's nothing there that would interest me in opening my...wait. I don't use a wallet anymore. Hrmmm...ok, palming my cards in any semblance of eagerness. Either way, there's nothing there that I want to buy, or have any interest in buying. Anyway, what if it's something that Steam put up just to throw us off? Hell, for all we know, everything could be on sale for $1/£1 instead! Really, the only game I want to get is Lego Batman 2, because I suck, and like casual games. :P There, I admit it. |

I think that's just the collections. There will no doubt be individual games for sale as well. No doubt for pennies. Pennies.
TBH, I'd like to try Sins of a Solar Empire, but eh. I don't want to have to deal with Stardock DRM. Probably will look into Total War Shogun 2, and maybe get Just Cause 2 for the PC if it's cheap, just so I can install cheat mods and dick around. |

What do you mean? Stardock doesn't put DRM on their games, just that you need a valid cdkwy to patch their games. Also as far as I'm aware, the steam version of SINS doesn't attach to the now called GameStop client either. Unless you're mistaking Stardock with the actual terrible Drm called Starforce. |

"Notice: To activate this game you must create a Stardock account while launching the game on Steam."
More hassle than I'm willing to go through to try something. |

Guess they changed a few things then, cause I bought SINS when they used to control Impulse, so making an account was frankly a simple thing to do.
Shame, as the SINS series is pretty good 4x RTS. Or you can try Endless Space. |

A friend bought the Payday: The heist 4 pack dirt cheap. Please pick this up. It's what left4dead should have been! It's on sale, you know what to do.

You know... right when the steam summer sale hits, I don't have any money to buy anything I want. I hate being poor. Terraria was gifted to me.

I have to hand it to them, staggering the flash sales was a good move to presumably reduce a lot of load from the servers compared to old sales. Haven't noticed the site being slow once; unless they've upgraded their servers.

There's still the initial few minutes of the site being down when it strikes 6 but certainly true the site has been stable overall.
On related news, Hot Pursuit for 4.99. A steal at that price. |

I think a lot of people got those, I figured it would be hard to shift. But if somebody's not got Portal 2, now's the time, half the forum probably has coupons.
