Honestly, the lack of shading and extra panels isn't so bad.

Eh, placeholder 'til the whole thing arrives.

'Grats on the job btw.

Silversword: Full comic is up now. Refresh if you're still seeing the placeholder version

Surely if it wasn't quite 340, it'd have to be 339.5? 340 1/2 implies it's 340 and then some.

Didn't even notice the lack of shading at first. I suck. :D

Congratulations on the job!

I feel sorry for Wildfire by the way. Poor girl. All those critics...

Eastwood's cheerful sarcasm and reaction Wildfire and Lothar have pleased me)
And yes. It is good that Virus has found to itself work) I Congratulate)
Though annoyingly that comics will be updated now less often. Oh well.

Huh. I woulda guessed that all nonessential personnel of the facility (if not nearly the entire staff) would've been evacuated due to all the demons, leaving at least a few colleagues, but I suppose that wasn't the case.

Yeah, Virus is working up to 30 hours a week now. I'm so happy... This will be great for the sponsorship process!

You know, that and a bit more financial pitching in for groceries and the like...

Selfish I am...

Congrats to Virus for landing a job! Especially in these hard times.

And I cannot wait for the bollocking Wildfire will no doubt receive in the second half of the issue.

It could also technically be called 340 Version 0.5.

I've told him time and time again that I still think it looks better without the shading.

Went back and had a look under that thought.

Mm...I can kinda see that it does had a strong image to it that way. But the shading adds so much more I feel, especially with the strong light sources that have been creeping in as of late.

I think it's good either way, of course, but since he has a job and everything now, it would actually be better off if he made his comics shade-less for now, since it'd save time and give him less work (and a reduced risk of him collapsing from exhaustion).

The backgrounds look good shaded, maybe that could be a sort of middle-ground between Shaded and Non-shaded?

I notice the silhouette banner now has Rogue back, having replaced Wildfire's brief stint in the limelight.

It actually randomises between the two.

I see Virus still has his tail. So much for the theory that it got trapped in the implosion. XD

'Grats on the job, Virus, and thanks for the half of the comic you did already give us.

Lothar's new rule is one I can agree on. :D
I am also liking East's reaction to Wildfire in the last panel.

Critics be Critics. Don't take her Beam Swords!

I do like the depth the shading adds, but shading’s pointless if the art sucks (which this does not), so unless the shading’s important to the story, I think I can live without it. ;)

Actually, on real thoughts I doubt it could lose the shading in my eyes now. For one it's the established "look" I feel the comic has really been garnering in greater amounts since the "multi-panel" standardisation.

It just allows so much cooler things, I believe.

Just wait until he's working 40+ hours every week "part-time" so his employers don't have to give him benefits.... (I kid you not -- I knew someone in Omaha who was doing that the entire eight years I lived there. This person was not known behind his back as "Doormat" for nothing.... :P )

Okay, I did not expect Chlorophyll. Not at all. Especially not from Virus; more expected that from east.

Don't give me that look.

This can't possibly end well for Yuri.
