Had a great time at the meet, and apparently a new forum topic is needed, so everyone who has got pix, post em!

Pix has quite a few images and vids here, including the golf ones:

http://7-0-7.co.uk/extra/enmeetup.php

I didn't really take a lot of photos and what I did take others have got far better images, however I did scan the photo I got off Oblivion. The eight of us (out of twelve attendees) that went on it are all at the front:

(Posted Image)

From left to right at the top: Nick (Metallix Brother), Alan (Virus), Dean (Virus's youngest brother), Barry ( Virus's other brother), Jeff (Jeff38UK), me, Matt, (Feldoon) and Jon (Pix).

At the bottom: Chinese Elvis Jeff and myself throwing up the horns, but you can't see that cos of the photo's stupid border.

Honestly at the top of the pic I look like I'm trying to have a huge shit, and then at the bottom I look like I'm celebrating it. "I'm poopin! I'm poopin!...I DID IT!"

Better than what I got. House that smells of burning and the kitchen looking like a smoke hut.

Well, I missed something spectacular. Such a pity. Third or fourth time this year I've regretting not being able to go to England.

Would have liked to show you fools a thing or two about golf! I guarantee Pix wouldn't have won mini-golf if I were there. ^_^ (And if I had won the car, Silv would not have been a passenger! :P)

Looking forward to more pics. Truly looks like you guys had a blast.

This being some of the gang on Duel, probably one of the most daft (but amusing) rides of the day. I think it's good that we couldn't have teamkilled, otherwise it'd only be Jeff and Retro left in the cart at the end ;)

From top left to bottom right, going in rows;

Dean, Retro, Pix, Jeff, Metallix Brother.

Actually, given pix was also in the team, it would be me and pix since we often have the highest friendly fire, lol.

It was an ok ride, didnt like the huge spider that dropped down tho. :(

And as for the rollercoasters. D: For Oblivion, it was like, crap I have never rode such rides before, I'm starting to regret my decisioooooooooooooooooo

As for Rita, which goes from 0-100mph in 2.5 sec, that was shoulder hurting and frightening, but fun as hell. I hate that small hang time between the lights going full red and pulling back, stopping, hey is it going to move no SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Surely it'd be me in there as well, I generally get double the amount of team-mates hit on L4D compared to Jeff =P

Scores on Duel: in our car, I got 34500, Dean just beat me with around 36000, and I remember Jeff didn't manage to break 10000. XD

(Quick note: Rita goes from 0 - 100 km/h, not mph. So, it's just nought-to-sixty in 2.5 seconds)

Just looking around on Wikipedia, Rita is nothing compared to a couple of others (Kingda Ka). There was meant to be one opening last month at the Nürburgring which does 0-135 MPH in 2.5 sec.

Well given we weren't going to pay to visit another country, I think we have to make do with what we have available.

And sorry for info incorrectness, I was thinking from the top of my head.

Just been editing some photos, and one of my shots of the pagoda in the gardens came out nicely.

Never again.

And Oblivion is nothing compared to SheiKra at Busch Gardens Florida (yep, the Graham brothers have ridden it).

Well, I'm back and I do have pictures. These pictures will need to be played around with if I intend to put them up for public consumption. These will include moments like the Japanese Giant Spider Crab who did not like me at all.

That being said, the better moments have been captured, such as my complete inability to wield a golf club beyond putting (KING OF THE EAST COURSE BITCHES) and using it to bludgeon people to death. The better moments are simply cases of having to have been there, like my unhealthy fascination with monorails, Feldoon's insistence that the toilet spoke to him, and the crooked carnie games. Oh, and the wasps.

I took a fair few photos and shot a few videos, but these ones are probably my favourites...

(Posted Image)

A lovely group shot of The Gentleman's Club to start with...

(Posted Image)

A moment which is completely squashed by TF2 instincts (either that or Fascist Feldoon trying to arrest Jeff for not being whiter than a snowman). I use the distraction to try and nick Pixellated's hat.

(Posted Image)

Meantime, Gaz practices his big speech for when the day he becomes Emperor of the Earth and all her far-flung colonies in a hostile and unethical takeover dawns.

(Posted Image)

I estimate that about two-thirds of time spent at theme parks is spent queueing. Here are some of the guys in the queue for Rita; a twenty-minute queue for a twenty-second ride.

Before anyone asks, no I did not go on any rollercoasters. I'd meant to, but then I remembered that I'm a massive coward.

(Posted Image)

The Incredible Tower of Hats, as demonstrated by Pix here. A fraction of a second later, it fell down.

(Posted Image)

If only we could have found a replica of the comic Lothar's hat. I guess Gaz wearing Pix's hat will have to do...

(Posted Image)

Retro gets fitted up for a climb up the wall... either that or he's getting ready for something rather kinky.

I've got a video of his initial attempt to climb up. All I need is a wah-wah noise and we're set. :P

(Posted Image)

Taken from the Duel ride, with was pretty tame. What I like about this photo is that Feldoon looks like he's back in the trenches, staring straight at the skeleton which has apparently torn Silversword's face off.

If only the two girls who got in behind us had SHUT THE FUCK UP.

(Posted Image)

The campest submarine crew ever prepares to dive into the depths of the Alton Towers Sea-Life Centre.

As East pointed out though, the best bits were those you really had to be there for.

The old TF2 instincts kick in.

Not really, no-one is on fire. Or covered in urine. Although when I made an offering to the porcelain god when I got home, the reek certainly seemed like it could cause severe burns.

I'll have to sift through my photos too. In the meantime, are you Gentlemen up for a more typical Club meeting tonight?

Virus, I feel like someone has worked my entire body over with a sack of hammers. Even a smooth journey like I had back was rough on my frail, slack frame.

In that last photo there it looks like Metallix is very happy to see us.

Also Retro looks a bit like The Frenchman from the comic The Boys.
Even has Battle goggles.
