I noticed that the comic hasn't broken the fourth wall in quite sometime. Was this a conscious choice or is it just 'cause? Do you have code of conduct when it comes to breaking the fourth wall?

Personally I consider the Star Wars refs to be kinda fourth-wall breaking, since its existence in the EN verse would raise all kindsa questions.

Which I really shouldn't try to answer. Stop it, brain.

I didn't think about that. It only occurs to me when they say they're in a webcomic and other such stuff.

Chewbacca would have to be replaced with someone who'd been deaf since they were born, but I think that's about it.

I imagine Star Wars in its original form would be regarded as "Overlander sclock" in Mobius.

At most it'd be sort of like Rocky Horror Picture Show. "Dude we should totally watch it so we can make fun of it."

And given that they live with Eastwood, he's probably forced them to watch it at least once. Along with said Rocky Horror Picture Show.

This is making too much sense! Stop! Nooooooooo!

Hey Lothar, I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I have not seen it anywhere on here. What is the easiest medium for you to be inspired through, besides literature? Music? Television? Again, I'm sorry if this has been asked before.

I got a question for Lothar (especially after rereading old EN strips and seeing the one about Ron Perlman in Hellboy)...

Are there any Ron Perlman movies which you don't like? Just curious.

Also, while I'm thinking about it... have you seen that movie The Mutant Chronicles? (I ask because it had Ron Perlman in it.)

RON PERLMAN IS GOD! And like God, makes mistakes. I saw Police Academy: Mission to Moscow. *shudder*

And no I haven't seen Mutant Chronicles, although I was tempted to buy it before reading reviews.

"Police Academy: Mission to Moscow"? Never heard of that one before... just how many of those "Police Academy" movies did they make?

Also, yeah, about "The Mutant Chronicles"... I saw it at a friend's house (he has a copy), and it definitely had "B-MOVIE" written all over it. Whether or not you'd want to see it anyway, just to see Ron Perlman as a bad-ass monk part of the missionary order meant to combat The Machine (and then turned into one of its drones at the end), I don't know.

If you can find a way to watch it, another movie I'd recommend is I Sell the Dead. Ron Perlman's part is small, but never anything less than engaging, and the whole film's just great fun to watch.

Too many. Plus an animated series.

The animated series I knew about (I may have watched a few episodes of it years ago as a little kid)...

There was an animated series? I know there was a normal TV series, but not an animated one. And yeh, the series pretty much nose dived after the 3rd film frankly, but by that point it was already taxing to be interesting.

After Studio Asperger mentioned this other movie with Ron Perlman in it (I Sell the Dead), I went and did a quick look at Ron Perlman's other roles via Wikipedia. I had NO IDEA he did so many of these other roles...

...wait, HE did Lord Hood from the Halo series!? Did you know this, Lothar? (Let's see, you love Halo and you love Ron Perlman...)

I had a number of questions for Lothar, regarding Fernex.

Can Fernex possess something that is not attached to a power source, or something that is attached to a power source that is dead/turned off?

If Fernex possesses something that is attached to a live power source, does disconnecting the item expell Fernex from that item?

If it doesn't, is there a time limit on how long he can stay in that appliance after it is disconnected?

If there is a time limit, how long is the time limit?

There is a logical point to these questions, in that I saw a toaster in Aldi and had a really funny idea. I just wanted to know if it would work.
