Title: Merry Christmas!
Description: Or Happy Holidays for those offended.

Anon Jaxun - December 25, 2011 05:46 AM (GMT)
Looks like there isn't a thread on this yet, so I figured I'd get all holiday-spirty and toss it out there.

Merry Christmas, forum. Or Happy Hanukkah. Or happy Wal-Mart shopping day. Y'know whatever floats your boat and all that jazz. I hope you guys have had a good Christmas and whatnot. Kinda' funny, this year I get to be the jolly giant and finish off the cookies and milk. :P

Just tossing the thread out there to wish you guys a good time. :)

Studio Asperger - December 25, 2011 08:46 AM (GMT)
Yeah, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all you lot! All the best for the New Year!

Aw, don't be so grumpy, it's Christmas! Wear a smile today, would you? :D Get in the spirit. :P

Nothing really going on right now, just figured I'd see what's up here. I hope you guys enjoy the day, truly. I'm gonna' test out Hershey's melted onto some, "Chik'n'Biscuits" with the family today. Should be good.

No one should be offended, I wouldn't be offended if a Muslim wished me Eid Mubarak(though this occurs at a different time of year), or a Jew Happy Hanukkah! But keep safe, enjoy the time with your family or friends, eat enough to feel sick, and forget all the shit that happens for a day or two.

Gan_HOPE326 - December 25, 2011 12:35 PM (GMT)
I believed this was called the Gift Day™.

Well then, Merry Christmas!

As someone whose general wants/needs are way too expensive to even begin thinking to ask for, this is an accurate depiction of me around December when the 'any ideas on what you'd like?' emails start passing themselves around.

Sorry for the double-post, but I just had to share this:

I was working on very gory lyrics to an MLP-based song (a terrible idea from the start and one that I've destroyed all evidence of) on a piece of paper. For some reason, I stuffed that piece of paper into a couch cushion at some point in time.

Fast forward to Christmas eve, and my oldest sister is over for the night. My family is unfolding the couch to turn it into a sofa bed...and, in the process, they find the lyrics...and start reading them out loud. They got through 3 lines of it before I realized what they had and snatched it from their hands. I burned the paper later on.

Whoops.

I managed to convince them that it was a song for a girl who I'm very close friends with, and now they think her nickname is Pinkie Pie.

...wait a minute, gory? Um, could you elucidate that (in the appropriate thread of course)?

Back to Crimbo, I''ve got me a 3DS, beer, chocs, jeans and other things. All nice!

dragonsteincole - December 26, 2011 02:27 PM (GMT)
Got a Lee Evans Book and DVD, new Sonic slippers, a watch for work (cheap, as I wouldn't want to take an expensive watch into a PRISON :P), and a new alarm clock. And I won £10 on a scratch card!

As for these guys though, holy ungrateful shits, Batman!

...you start looking at others gifts that they seem very proud and safe with and point out all the problems they're doing wrong with them before pulling your own superior gift out to belittle them?

Be right back; I'm in the process of tearing down our decorations and converting to Hinduism because my 3DS was black and not blue.

Jeffk38uk - December 26, 2011 04:49 PM (GMT)
More that he wants a new hat.

Kyrtuck - December 26, 2011 04:59 PM (GMT)
Well most of my presents I got before the actual Christmas day, and most of them were clothes. I am however, grateful for my new Foster the People CD, and my four days off from work.

Oh yes, and I ate TONS of sweeties at the two parties I attended. I also made a gingerbread house, but for some crazy reason, no one was amused at it being a gingerbread whorehouse. wtf? Gingerbread city has to have some industry somewhere, it can't all be residential. Oh, and I gave the gingerbread hookers jawbreaker boobies, which inadvertly prompted me to make an Ed Edd and Eddy porno.

And I've been reading a lot.

Sorry if I was unclear, I meant doing copious amounts of non-descriptive drugs and going round to neighbours' houses to rob them with high powered weaponry.

Lothar Hex - December 26, 2011 07:55 PM (GMT)
Got another £25 from my Dad, so woo.

HarvestmanMan - December 26, 2011 08:41 PM (GMT)
I also got a 403 Forbidden when trying to access half the pages on here on a hotel computer. Go to hell, Internet Exploder.

Oddly_1aundulxaldin - December 26, 2011 10:08 PM (GMT)
I got $75 Dollars.

I'm not exactly ecstatic with joy on this matter. I don't know what to do with it.

So, Merry Christmas to you guys here on the forum, although from what I understand, it's "Annual Gift Day" in the UK. You guys have had an awesome Gift Day! (Cause I read the above.) Hope you had an opportunity to spend time with your loved ones.

Kaempfer - December 26, 2011 10:11 PM (GMT)

Holy shit, more proof that teenagers are the worst.

I got some money, a couple gift cards and a Kindle Fire (which blew my mind a little, seeing as the person who bought it for me NEVER buys gadgets for presents).

Also, I got to see my brother and his girlfriend for the first time in about half a year since they moved, and my grandma who hasn't been able to come into town for awhile, so I'd say it was a great holiday.

And, Pix, there's no loss of dignity when you only wear them in a house full of people that are usually also wearing sweat/pajama pants. Also, yes, they are quite comfy.
