Title: Exterminatus Now #389

Zerolus - December 12, 2011 11:50 AM (GMT)
oh bloody hell

I'm going to hell for laughing, aren't I?

Kyrtuck - December 12, 2011 11:56 AM (GMT)
First the jelly from your eyes, and now this....

Why do weird body fluids always taste so good on toast?

EDIT: ooh, I just realized this comic is ecspecially ironic since Monterey jack was voiced by a guy named Jim Cummings. Yes thats his real name, he voiced a bazillion other characters on various shows in the 90's.

Ed Sigma - December 12, 2011 12:09 PM (GMT)
Well, I wasn't going to use those cherished childhood memories anyway...

Now you've mentioned the whole "black duck" thing, it's not leaving my head anytime soon...

Noir The Sable - December 12, 2011 02:39 PM (GMT)
And then there was the matter of the Taikan pizzeria that used to be run by three cats who moonlighted as samurai...

Studio Asperger - December 12, 2011 03:08 PM (GMT)
I honestly feel like I'm going to Hell for laughing so hard at this strip.

Exterminatus Now; destroying your childhood memories since 2003. :P

Niles - December 12, 2011 04:33 PM (GMT)
Go, Lothar! Shoot them with your leg!!!

HarvestmanMan - December 12, 2011 04:34 PM (GMT)
There are some things which even you shouldn't touch, like Willy Fog.

Chip and Dale, however, is not one of those things. Well done.

SaturnGrl - December 12, 2011 04:35 PM (GMT)
OH GOD! MY CHILDHOOD!

I'll never be able to Watch Rescue Rangers with a clean conscience again...

Somebody actually still has a clean conscience around here? I didn't figure that was possible.

I must say though, I didn't expect this little tidbit. Though I should have after the Sonic page from a while back. I'll just mark this off of my list of things I still thought were untouchable from my childhood.

Oddly_1aundulxaldin - December 12, 2011 05:14 PM (GMT)
You know, if there was supposed to be something racist about this, then either I can't see it, or I did, and honestly don't fucking care, because I'm too busy watching my childhood quietly burn into cinders.

Actually, it's pretty fucking funny.

There ain't no black people in the Jetsons either. And considering that it's set in the future... Yup, 'nother one ruined for ya'll.

I can imagine a certain Russian mouse-worshipping cult that may have an issue with a bound and gagged Gadget.
Or they may approve, hell if I know.

Oh yes, after all the military has exposed me too, I have little shame about most things, and I had a clean conscience about a lot of things I still considered "innocent".
Even with the introduction of Rule 34, I maintained a clean conscience. Hell, I half expected sexual content from any show that had a female cast into a group of males. Its bound to happen.

But death by sodomy and eating scat on toast...almost as bad as that whole 2-Grils and a Cup thing that everyone thought was a hoot.

Imagining that with Chip and Dale...AUGH! MY EYES! MY MIND!

Dakatsu - December 12, 2011 06:00 PM (GMT)
Huh. Good thing I didn't really watch Rescue Rangers as a child.

SoniCalvin - December 12, 2011 06:18 PM (GMT)
*is left completely traumatized*

Oh god oh god oh god oh god...

Why does everything I love become ruined?

Grey - December 12, 2011 06:41 PM (GMT)
At least it did not included dragons or trolls or dolphins or whales...

Master Shake - December 12, 2011 06:49 PM (GMT)
You magnificent bastards

Lexum - December 12, 2011 07:20 PM (GMT)
I can see where they're coming from, Nutella is fucking good.

Lothar Hex - December 12, 2011 07:24 PM (GMT)
Yeah this strip is ninety percent my fault. I came up with the idea, and well, the other ten percent is the other guys not saying no. Personally unlike Virus, East, and Silv I'm not ashamed, but then I'm a horrible person. I suppose I should be sorry for Virus having to draw it, but I'm actually disappointed that he didn't include Zipper dressed up like a gimp, like we agreed.

I accept your challenge! First of all touch who's willy? Anyway Willy (Penis) Fog, is a British Imperial Supremacist. He kidnaps an underage princess from India while bossing around French guy and his midget friend, constantly belittling them and attacking anyone who got in his way and oh wait THAT WAS THE SHOW.

Also, Animaniacs was about incest. What else were they doing in the tower for 40 years?

Not to sound like a completely ignorant ass but...who is Willy Fog?

Your description seemed to fit more of a Phileas Fogg from one of my old-time favorite stories, only a bit more like a version of the character on an MTV Reality show.

Lothar Hex - December 12, 2011 07:47 PM (GMT)
Basically, Phileas Fog as a cartoon lion, animated in Spain.

And another childhood memory corrupted by the Exterminatus Now crew. At least I didn't watch that show enough times to make an impression on my childhood anyway so it's a moot point. :P

I especially enjoyed watching the evolutions required to avoid bringing down the full wrath of The Mouse House upon the creators' heads. (Yes, they will -- and have done so in the past for *far* less than this.)

Oh, as for _Animaniacs_ creepiness: Dot Warner -- sixty-year-old mind in a six-year-old body. _Interview with a Vampire_'s child-vampire was only slightly less fucked-up than that.

(Would that scat-on-toast go well with a nice Bear Grylls Pale Ale? >:) )

1. Lol, willy.
2. Words words words, lol British people.
3. Yes he does.
4. Yes he does.
5. In his defense, Tico's a fucking annoying little shit.
6. But he's a genteel gentleman.
7. Attacking him with the power of verboseness.

Minor technicality: it was animated in Japan and created in Spain, because Spain wasn't badass enough already.

And I'm sure this adds to the discussion in some convoluted way:

 Okay, while I may be familiar with Chip and Dale and the rescue rangers. For some reason, the comic has me more confused than anything else. Mostly because I don't quite follow what is happening.

Judging from everyone else's reactions, that's probably for the best.

EDIT: Just figured out what was going on, still a little confused though. I have only one thing to ask, though.

What are you guys smoking?

csadn - December 15, 2011 12:29 AM (GMT)
OK -- admittedly I never watched _Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers_, or any of those shows; but am I correct in assuming:

a) There were in fact no black ducks in a city full of them, and;

b) Lothar's theory at some points invokes phrases like "Tuskegee experiment", "T4 program", and "Scrooge McDuck is in fact Dr. Josef Mengele"?

I don't think there's much you can say about Animaniacs that the show itself didn't at least imply. As noted upthread, we're talking about an ostensible children's cartoon that once managed to slip a sight gag about anally violating the Artist Currently Known as Prince past the censors.

Yes -- _Animaniacs_ is, to my mind, the only True Successor to the classic Looney Tunes cartoons.

Classic:

Babbitt: "C'mon, stupid -- give me the bird! GIVE ME THE BIRD!"
Catsello: "If the Hays Office[*] would only let me, I'd give 'im the bird all right!"

[*: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motion_Picture_Production_Code ]

Modern:

Pilgrim: "Cease this foolishness and giveth me the bird!"
Yakko: "We'd love to, but the Fox network won't allow it."

Jeffk38uk - December 16, 2011 09:43 PM (GMT)
It is hilarious how much puns and innuendo's they crammed in there.
