Required Reading, for guests to read

*wrote in C-box..didn't know I could post. Wonderful site too, and I'm sure you've heard that before. =^^'=

As I'd said there I've got a character who is, all in all, the essence of me.
Her name is Tris. She's a red wolf-dragon cross.

She does not breath fire but she does fly and have some minor magics that she does not much control. She's overall harmless and rather a curious soul. She developed from my love of wolves and my novels about dragons. *Long*

She's a sweet thing who would love to play. I notices you'd said that they could not just be in the world. That's understood, Tris is a rare beast to come about in the old era of earth before humans took control and messed it up. Her group is far and few between.
If I could play her her arrival there would be thus- *In age Tris is almost 50. Dragon's blood gives her longitivity* The older of the Dracor's magic goes into a flux from time to time. It has odd side effects to younger who are near. Her mother (or Father?) happened to fall into it and sent Tris hurling away into another plane. Thus she landed in this world.

Do you believe it would be alright, if not now to play her then later. I'd provide better specs then.

Also I've just started College. I intend to join, but not right away until I get myself better situated. I'd like to be more active.

Thanks for the compliments :D The idea sounds alright; generally, I'm not letting outside-dragons get in, but we've had characters from parallel worlds before, and so long as she is mostly wolf I'm sure there'll be no problem. It'd be great if you could write up a species description to go with her for other people to read up on. The only thing I really need clarifying are her powers, but you said those are minor so I'm not expecting to have a problem with those.

We've calmed down a lot for school now *needed a break herself* so there's really no rush (:

Wow, I want to say that I'm really impressed with what I've seen and I am actually considering joining this site. I mean, I know I'm probably going to be killing myself by doing this but it's still speculation as to whether or not I will join.

Question about the powers is that my wolf (if I join) will more than likely be something around the lines of fire and darkness. Granted, this is limited. He/she will be able to utilize fire, but nothing major like they can't cause the heavens to rain fire or anything like that, but something small at first until he/she gets older and stronger. The darkness at first is used more as a cloaking kind of thing where he/she can hide themselves from view if they are hunting. Again, the power wouldn't be as great until they get older. Also, the more fights they get into the stronger their powers become...would that be reasonable enough of a request or would that be stretching things a bit?

Doesn't sound unreasonable to me (: How old would it start off? All that would need to be worked out would be the extent of their powers, especially at their 'peak'; I've no problem with powers growing stronger, but not exponentially so xD As long as a limit was agreed on, you could take their development at your own pace.

If you do join [and you may have seen if you've logged in as a Visitor] we aren't too active at the moment [and I didn't say that like a bad thing xD If we were, I'd be so far behind it's not funny] and so there shouldn't be too much death and destruction should you join!

But yeah, knowing the kinds of creatures we have around already, that doesn't sound like it'd be a big problem. I'd sign up anyway, because if Siki has any objections you and she can work it out and moderate powers. S'how things go 'round here. :3

Hi, me again!

I know this is probably random and I'm not fit to ask this, but how in the world do you guys use tables on this kind of board? I mean, I'm guessing the regular html tables don't work *is admin on another site* and I was trying to make it easy on our future rpers to use tables instead of creating account after account.

How do you code the tables, if you don't mind me asking?

We use the doHTML tags, and our board is set to allow these on certain boards of the site.
What do you mean "regular" HTML tables?
