Carcara Hold and Evergen Weyr's Wher-Handlers

Aabelyn, shortly after the hatching of Aabelysk's offspring to their new handlers,
started up a sort of "Whercraft." It was the golden Wherhandler's goal by starting up this
new craft of sorts that she would spread the word of the useful and wonderful creatures whers were.

As one of the few handlers of a Queen wher on Pern,
she had both the means and the rank to do such a thing, even though most thought it a petty and stupid idea.
To train youths to handle whers for uses other than what they'd already been used for?
Blasphemy!
But Aabelyn would persevere and hopefully set a new standard for the mistreated creatures.
