Well. We try to be canon. Most of the time we are. But hey, we need something to make it interesting. We're loosely canon.

We're definitely not non-canon in the sense that we regularly have silver and purple and gray dragons being hatched.

Well, the last large hatching happened a while ago. and Xacynth's hatching has been finished. I think we're going to have another hatching as soon as the Weyrlings have graduated, which may be in a month or so.

Not that I ever heard of. At least, not in any of the books by Anne McCaffrey. Maybe her son did something in one of his. I haven't read all his.
