Due to the lack of decent posting that has been plaguing the site over the last few months, the Admins have decided to tighten the wrenches on something they were hoping to not have to install. Post caps. Please bear in mind that we are an intermediate-advanced literacy site and do require more than the average 5-12 sentences.

Per Post: at least 200 words. It's not hard to accomplish this. We will hopefully be installing a link to a word counter site somewhere on the front page so you can check your posts. While the admins and mods won't be counting each and every post, please be honest so we don't have to have a permanent counter go into the posting system.

The reason for the posting caps is because there has been a severe bout of one paragraph posts. These posts, while effort is obviously being made in part creates, a huge gap for other people to try to struggle in replying to. The entire reason that people post is to get character development and interact with people. If you don't post a good at least two paragraphs hopefully with some dialog, no one is going to want to reply, or really have anything to reply to.

Character Posting Caps:
FROM NOW ON

You have one free character to create on this site, be it a candidate or low ranking dragon. (Blues and Greens only at this time please!) If you want to have a second character, you will HAVE to meet the amount of posts before even being considered for a hatching!

There will be enough time allotted in between each of the hatchings to meet this requirement. For every candidate, you will have to reach at least 100 posts (not to be confused with 100 threads XD) before your character even dreams of Impressing. This allows you to get actual character development in before you get a dragon! We know it seems kind of scary, but if you post a whole bunch--it'll go quickly, we promise!

EX #1: you just created your first character! You need 100 posts with that character in order to Impress, and 200 posts before you receive your second!

EX #2: you already have a few characters and create a candidate, you must post 100 times over all with any characters from time of candidate creation in order for this candidate to be considered for Impression.
