Amanda vs. Simone

So, after watching a few videos of Amanda on youtube.. Who do you think is better? And what do you think about thr idea in general?

I was impressed by Amanda's performance when I saw her with Epica and I really liked the show, but it didn't have the usual "Epica feeling", so my vote goes to Simone.
Vocally, I think they are both great but as for stage performance, Simone definitely rules over Amanda. ;) But Amanda doesn't perform live very often, so that might be the reason why.
The only thing I like more about Amanda is that she's more open and not that distant, she's really sweet, while I often hear from Epica fans that they find Simone a little bit cold. But after going to the US for the first time some days ago, I think the reason for this is simply that we Europeans have a different mentality, I had the impression that we're more reserved than Americans. :)

I like Amandas voice perhaps a bit more, but in fact, I think they sound really similar.. on stage, concerning the videos, I prefer Amanda, even if you can notice, that she doesn't have that much experience.. but she seems indeed warmer..
Simone can better headbang though :D

I prefer Simone...but I think Amanda sings better live. She nails all the notes dead on, where Simone makes plenty of small errors. Not that I mind, but it's obvious that Amanda is better live. As for stage presence, Simone wins that of course. Amanda was great to watch as well, but SImone headbangs more. :happy:

I want to hear a duet of them on the new CD... but Amanda should sing a bit different then as they'd sound too similar.

wow, Im the first one who voted for Amanda :P i was impressed how well she suit epica.. however I would never replace Simone for anyone.. But if I had, I would replace her for Amanda. What Amanda did with Epica was just amazing!
