This is an original concept roleplay - the world and its inhabitants created solely by, ze Ghost (gasp!), and I'm really stoked to have the opportunity to share it with many other people. That being said, there are just a few ground rules that I would appreciate people standing by. Okay, most of us love quick and simple rules, so we'll try to keep it as basic as possible given Lil's known tendency to ramble like an idiot sometimes. EndeXile is here for people to have fun and join in an original concept and worls, however there are a few grounding points to remember: Members This is account per character here. When registering, please register under your character's name in normal upper and lower case. Simple, ne? Respect your fellow RPers. We all love to goof off, and Lil's the biggest child of them all, but we'd love to keep this a drama llama free zone thanks. We love things to be chill and fun - so have fun, just don't go overboard and actually offend someone (or apologise if it happens accidentally). We're giving this a PG13-R type of rating, curse to your heart's content as long as its not every second word. Extremely violent or graphic threads should be marked with an [M] + warning so others at least know and can avoid it if they wish. And if you want to write explicit threads, then it needs to be in the passworded forum. Also, be honest about your age on the bio template please. Activity is what keeps RP fun. Checks will be done around every 2 months - failure to reply to them has your character archived and your account deleted. Also, 3-4 weeks without any active RP posts and no leave of absense note will also result in being moved to the archive (but sccount not deleted until after the next activity check). People are free to reregister and repost their bio's, but only after approaching the admin at their discretion. Also, members are free to drop a thread and declare it dead after 3 weeks inactivity in it if they wish. There is currently no limit on the amount of characters you can create - only that you keep up with them all. If you can't then you will be asked to either drop some or try to keep up. Not only is it much less pressure on yourself to keep up, but its more fair on other players who're RPing with you. Graphics are as follows: - Avatars are to be 200px wide and 200px high. Please use your PB - PBs are to be real people too please. - Signatures are to be NO WIDER than 500px, this is to prevent the board margins from stretching. Also no higher than 250-300px please. Posting Posting length is not a huge deal, but remember that if you want a quality reply, then put out what you expect to receive in return. we won't say you have to write a novel, but at least one or two decent sized paragraphs would be nice. No single sentence posts please. The word is: tango. Write in third person and past tense. Tag your threads. Eg: 'Open', 'Tag: Joe Blow', 'Tag: Invite'... and private or whatever else, etc. EX is non-linear, meaning you can have as many threads as you like as long as you keep up with them and keep track of when they occur in relation to each other. This can be done using the trackers which Lil has so thoughtfully created and will be asking everyone to keep for their characters (this will be re-explained in the bio template thread). Outright strong god-modding is a no-no. This basically means anything that your character would not be capable of when dealing with the other character. There are characters stronger than others out there. Just don't be silly and try to do something that is not within your character's ability or you'll be called on it. This includes with peoples' NPCs. That being said, IC actions mean IC consequences, so please still do keep in mind your own character's actions and possible reactions and results from others.
