Physical Appearance

The only word that can describe Mana is BEAUTIFUL. She isn't part of the Famous Crystal Five for nothing. Her curves can be considered GODLY proportional, she may even rival the goddess in beauty herself (and she got all that nice pieces from her mom, you can bet that). Her cheeks are rosy and lips are petal like and in pink. Her skin is fair and a pristine smile dons her face. But her most attractive features are her mysterious and reflective eyes.

Mana wears a variety of clothes that are, more often than not, revealing. TOTALLY REVEALING. Two clothes crossed covers her chest with sleeves donning her arms. Transparent pants don her legs where her black underwear can be seen in perfect daylight. Colors may vary. When attending court meetings however, she wears more appropriate clothes (XD).

In her real form though, she's a regular phoenix made completely of Ice, every flap of her wings creates permafrost.

Family Background

Her mother was Spirit Amane Cyanide-Velvet, who was one of the original phoenixes that created phoenicia and the race of Phoenixes. Being the first daughter, she was told to have to bear the responsibility of creating many more of their race and hence, intercourse one of the first things taught to her. Mana's father was never mentioned but Mana on the other hand was on every script, text and writing of the great phoenixes.

She has a multitude of siblings but she's the only one recognized as the OFFICIAL daughter of the Queen Dowager which earned her the title, Queen Mother.

Personality

Sweet, cheerful, exuberant, spontaneous, observant and over all seductive. Mana is the type of girl who doesn't seem to have a worry in life. She can be insanely sweet when she takes a liking to a person. Can be quite lewd but she keeps it in reasonable situations or circumstances (like her workplace!). But don't get her wrong, Mana can be as stuck up as any noble out there. She's prim and can be prissy, why wouldn't she be? She's the first daughter of the Great Phoenix Queen Dowager.

Mana is a determined person, whatever she's assigned to, she does it with a straight chin and perked outlook. She's a positive character, rarely pessimistic, she looks at the world with a smile. Although she had bad experiences before because of her profession growing up, she decided it's part of the past and whats in the past is in the past. Oh and before it is forgotten, Mana can keep secrets forever without saying it. She can also pleasure you in ways you can't even fathom.

She's a master of her craft but be forewarned, she does have dignity and if you try to take that away, She will whip you to death (no kidding). She has a high regard of respect for herself and she totally dislikes it when people try to trample all over that.

HISTORY

Hatchling

The great and powerful land of Phoenicia was being established and it took over 2000 years for it to completely flourish. The first phoenixes had bore children and their land was flourishing quite nicely. All the original except for one, Spirit. Spirit was one of the more refined and disliked the thought of bearing an imperfect child (a male child) so she took her time and when the day came, she bore a beautiful young girl she named Mana, after the ancient human term for "Magic". She was born the same day one of the other phoenixes bore Arkalon.

Mana grew up and well. She was observant which gave her the smarts to pass any challenges brought to her. She was artistisc, able to paint well and play the harp. She was strong and athletic, she also didn't show any signs of sort of magical deficiency. Her Ice magic capabilities made Adeni look like a mere ice cube after she's done with magic sessions, which was taught by the great phoenixes themselves.

Even her beauty had no comparison. A trait she undoubtedly got from Spirit. Her beauty was the subject of many paintings (along with Namia the Gentle and Bastian the Golden and of course, her mother). Her figure was only attainable to men in their dreams. She also had a nice personality, easy going and fine. She was definitely a vital part of the Phoenix clan.

She was prized so much, she was called Queen Mother. Only two phoenixes had the said title, the other being Arkalon.

She took on any challenge that came her way and she managed to handle them with ease. All but one...

When Mana grew up into an appropriate age, her mother hbad told her that she had to take on the responsibility of helping procreate the Phoenix race. Mana was surprised, she had seen intercourse and has even heard of it but she would participate? It never crossed her mind that such a heavy burden would be given to her. They could only bear children every 500 years so she knew a daughter was essential and very very hard.

She disliked the matter and totally ignored her mother's pleas, but after a few good hundred years of trying to convince her, she finally agreed. Her mother, by request of the other phoenixes, sent Mana to work in a brothel. It was her uncanny beauty that put her in he predicament. It was also the decision of the Greater Phoenixes. They would make Arkalon the next Queen while Mana would be in charge of increasing the number of their race. Needless to say, Spirit was angered by this but kept it to herself, whispering a teary eyed apology to her own daughter.

First Taste

Mana was in the brothel. Her headmistress was a halfling (Human-elf) by the name of Lilac. She was brought there together with two other females. An elf by the name of Margana, and another halfling and daughter of Lilac, Nala. Mana stood out like a sore thumb, she was the only phoenix there at that time and her beauty was rivaled only by four other women who also became their mentors.

The first was Aileen Alfasar, Chantreuxian. Aileen taught Mana, Margana and Nala the ways of treating a man well. The second was Lanna Siylratis, a mermaid which told her the secrets of men's body parts as well as other secrets on how to make a man beg for more and whatnot. The last two, Isa Du' Malae from Adeni and Sayara Masamate from Ixion, taught the secrets of treating women well. It was on lessons like these when Mana, Margana and Nala became close friends.

The time came when the three of them had to pass their first and final test. It was to sleep with a man and apply all that they were taught. Her customer came and she greeted him with respect. The man was a drunkard general from Ixion who had been taken over by lust. The look on Mana's face, the scent of her "everlasting virginity" (Healing magic, don't ask) had driven the man wild and well... it turned out to be rape rather than sex.

It was painful and it was nothing like what her mentors had told her. She was okay with intercourse, but not like this...not like this. She cried, she did not like this.

The next day, the man was found frozen in an eternal ball of ice and Mana was crouched at the edge of the room. Truth be told, even though they were selling their bodies for pleasure, they had dignity. Her four mentors were greatly angered by this event and told Lilac. Lilac spread the word that if any man would treat them as mere toys.

Well...They'd get a punishment worse than death. Up until now, the man Mana froze is still on display at the center of the brothel to serve as a reminder that everyone should remember.

Starting Over

Mana went away after that day. Lilac, Aileen, Lanna, Isa and Sayara didn't stop her. They knew all too well the sins of the flesh and all too well that the girl needed time to think, especially after that. Mana had gone back to Phoenecia where she had a word with Spirit. Spirit was very much angered by the events and even told Mana that she didn't have to do it anymore. Mana didn't know what to do. She wanted to help their race but after that night...

She had heard that Arkalon was rising through the ranks and would be the next Queen because of the fact that Spirit was wanting to retire as Queen Dowager, due to the fact that the Great Phoenixes and her had tensions with the issue of Mana and Arkalon. Mana was happy for her, she was fulfilling her role and that's what made Mana realize, she had to fulfill hers.

She gave her mother a kiss of gratitude and left. She went back to the brothel and was welcomed with open and warm arms (some were wet but that's irrelevant). She started over, re-learning and even giving suggestions herself. She and her two best friends, Margana and Nala, easily became famous in the said brothel. From serving war torn soldiers and generals to nobles and finally, kings and on rare occasions, queens.

Their family had also grew, from 10 (Lilac, the original 4, Mana, Nala, Margana and two others) to about 30. The money they were receiving made it possible for the brothel to increase in size and soon, they were a family of hundreds and more.

Mana had become accustomed to the life of a courtesan but she never threw her dignity away. If she knew a man would be a hassle, a rapist, a lustful soul who wants nothing but flesh and not the worth of doing it. She would decline any sort of offer, money, jewels and whatever. It wasn't long before she rose to the ranks as high as Aileen and her mentors. They were the five most beautiful in the whole brothel and they were called the "Crystal 5" and they only served those THEY and the Headmistress see fit. It was during this time when Mana started to don her famous Red hat.

It was also this time when they're income as well as the customers had been so great, the courtesans even had titles themselves.

Beautiful Boy

Mana could be considered a queen in her own right. Throughout the years, she had born many children which now make up many of the Phoenixian race. In the brothel, she was considered the finest of the Crystal Five and only a few men AND women had a chance to taste her and her two assistants, Margana and Nala.

It was one day when they received a special order from Lilac. It was to service as well as teach a young boy of 15. Mana didn't find it too exciting at first but after she found out who it was, she couldn't help but rush into the room.

The young boy was Temaile Reillen, son of one of their most famous customers (and personal favorite of Sayara and Margana), Lord Reagan Philippe Reillen. The boy struggled as Mana came close to teach the boy. An exceptionally strong lightning bolt had thrown her back. Ice started encasing her and then it shattered and out came an egg. The egg hatched and a familiar Ice Phoenix came out which then turn back into human. Mana coughed out feathers after and spoke the following words.

"Frisky and Spunky...I like <3"

After that, the training had continued. Truth be told, there is a high possibility that Mana is the ONLY person who knows the inner workings of Temaile Reillen, Cretaria's Emperor-to-be.

The Heathen War

It was during the war when the brothel saw its darkest days. The brothel had been closed down to use as temporary base of operations. It was also almost destroyed more often than not.

It was around this time when Mana retreated to her house in Adeni where she lieved with Margana and Nala as well as Mana's FIRST (yes First) son, Grimoire. They lived out their days in the house, watching the war as well as watching the events in Adeni. They had heard that Temaile was captured by the Heathens. Of course, they were worried. Temaile's absence took a toll on Lord Reagan and when Lord Reagan died, they stood watch as the nobles started to squabble with themselves.

Throughout the trouble, Mana always thought of Temaile and how he was doing.

The Golden Age of Magic

After the Heathen war, Lilac and the Crystal 5 worked hard to bring the brothel back up in operation. It didn't take long but after the war, customers had grown few. Mana didn't accept any customers during this time as well, she would only play her harp and waited for news about Temaile.

It was during one night when her prayers were answered. Temaile himself had visited her and her friends (along with Robert who was Temaile's Gay tutor). She was filled with great joy and listened as the man told them story after story. The night was truly one of her most happiest days.

The day after, Mana heard that Temaile took over his father. There were many road bumps along the way but she was a strong supporter of Temaile. Many years passed and it was one assembly she had attended to that changed everything. The assembly when Temaile was named Emperor. Truth be told, Mana was one of the 156.

The Golden Age of Magic worked well for Mana as she was able to let her son learn magic and perfect his craft. During that time, Mana had actually stopped working in the brothel for awhile and focused on being a mother.

She had stopped attending many assemblies after as the mortality of his son had finally caught up with him. Grimoire had died the day after the boy had received his Masters degree in Conjuration magic. Mana would mourn for weeks. She remembered that this was just like before when she first got molested and kicking the bucket, giving a silent and thankful prayer. She continued on with life.

Mana went back to work at the brothel, receiving many orders but she only picked a few. She would also visit and be visited by Temaile from time to time but that time soon disappeared as the man had started to leave for place after place. Mana had grown increasingly worried over the years and often tried to speak with Temaile about it but would always be driven out of the court. Mana would also speak with the Shields once in awhile (except for Ezuna who had some sort of dislike for her because of her introducing Temaile to Robert) but none of the Shields could give a straight answer.

With a heavy heart, she continued to watch the days pass. A particular day caught her attention when her mother, Spirit, had visited her. She had heard from her that Arkalon had bore a child with Temaile. Mana was jealous but duty was duty and she was happy that with the child, an alliance between the Court and the Phoenix could be made.

It was Octrill 10 when things got more bumpy for Mana. Temaile had retreated into a seclusion and a few years after, announced disappeared. When The Great Breaking occurred, the brothel was destroyed due to the riots that followed. Lilac had been killed, along with Sayara and Lanna. Mana, Nala and Margana retreated back to their abodes and spent most of their days there.

Mana soon grew tired of waiting and decided to look for Temaile herself. She never did though. She heard Aileen had put the brothel back up so she returned to her family.

She isn't worried about Temaile. She knew all too well how strong he is and she knew the man might never return but she knew he was out there somewhere. She just hopes that one day, he'd visit. She continues on life with a pristine smile
