I was wondering if you allow custom creatures. Not exactly a race, as my character (if allowed) is the only one of his kind and isn't technically living.

Just to give you an idea...

If there isn't one yet, do I have the liberty of creating a history and social structure for my character's tribe/kingdom/whatever?

I think there's going to be a Merfolk history sometime soon, but I'm not completely sure about that. For now, I think you can create your own... Just make it like, a different tribe from the majority of the Merfolk, just to be sure. :3
