Elemania: Quest, Book 2, Beach Invasion

It's been a while since last time, but hopefully it'll be worth the wait; Elemania Quest's second book is ready to deploy. So, let's begin!

Firstly, what this book will be about. For full details, check this topic. To summarize, the Darfonians will be capturing and claiming part of the Beachside, and once the port is ready, setting sail for another island. (Not without a fight, of course.) The initial invasion happens near the beginning of the book, and setting sail happens near the end, so there'll be plenty of time in between while the workers set up the port. We'll be doing sidequests and stuff then.

Feel free to use whatever format style you'd like, but I'd prefer you to use the transcription style from the Homestar Runner Wiki. In case you don't know what that is, here:

If a character is talking, indicate it like this:

You may indicate a character's mood when talking, if you'd like, like so:

If a character is doing a "short" action, indicate it like this:

Describing scenery, or reiterating longer strings of actions:

And that's about it. We'll start as soon as we have enough prople ready at once.

{Darfon glided slowly about Dark Caverns. His shift as a guard was over, and was free to do whatever. But what to do? Before he could decide, he noticed a monster off in the distance, and he decided to take his chances at fighting it.}

PHOBOS: Lord Shaldowroame, I was a couple suspicious Elemen on the Beachside. They were attacking a bunch of Slithers, but seemed to be leaving the other monsters alone.

SHALDOWROAME: Sounds suspicious... keep an eye on them and tell me if they try to enter here. I think I might know what they're up to.

PHOBOS: Right. I'll keep watch, then.

{Phobos leaves the chamber, leaving Shaldowroame sitting on his throne, pondering.}

{Kangora enters the Dark Caverns with his relatively new Caverns Pass.}

Kangora: Hmm...nice place. I like it...! Battle times! {Rushes toward an orange Darfon}

{Darfon chases after the two Elemen.}

Kangora: Hmm. looks like you all could use some help! {Follows Darfon towards the two elemen from a distance.}

{Ignis stops, then, when Darfon and Kangora come close enough, he starts to talk to them while Helat gets further away.

IGNIS: Ugh... I captured the fugitive, but he broke away and started to attack random Darfonians. You'd better watch out - the Litsilians are sure to follow him here. Spread the word - there'll be a battle soon.

{Ignis then tries to think where Helat could be going, then, having apparently found out, glides toward him quickly.

{Meanwhile, Helat has gotten quite far away from Ignis and is attacking more Darfons.}

{Theron walks for a few feet before coming to a large crack in the ground. He steps back and walks around. A large wind gust rushes through the tunnel he is in.}

Theron: Wow, I really wish they would keep these places in better shape. But, I do suppose it's better than The Barren Plains. The place is horrible when it comes to ground condition.

{Ignis and Darfon take a shortcut through a dark and dirty part of the caverns to find Helat. Fortunately, nobody attacks them there. They eventually catch sight of Helat, who is fighting some monsters nearby.}

{Ignis goes after the small group of Darfonians and motions for others to follow.}

{OOC: From now on I'll edit my fights to differentiate between Ignis and Helat.}

((New rule: Only one battle per post, please. That way there won't be an overflow of battles and experience and overleveling.))

{Darfon catches up to Ignis and watches Helat get dragged away.}

DARFON: He's down and out now... I wonder if there's more?

{Phobos walks by and hears Darfon's comment.}

((Note that Phobos is just a minor character and will not show up too often, probably. I don't intend him to anyway...))

PHOBOS: There could be. I did see a bunch of suspicious Elemen off in the distance on the Beachside. They might be Litsilian... Shaldowroame is considering what orders to give.

{Kangora catches up to Darfon and Phobos, overhearing some of the conversation as well.}

Kangora: suspicious elemen in Beachside? Hmm...Would you need any further support for that? I'm available and got free time on my hands...

{Theron hears voices in the distance. He decides to check them out. He sneaks over to the ledge that he thought the talking was coming from. He peeked over the edge. He heard the elemen talking about a questionable defense issue.}

These guys could be potential employers. I should follow them for a while and see if there is any more chance...
