TAUSIEK: Whatever gets us outta here quickest it good, I say...

[Shadow Scythe]

DARFON: It's true, this group is no longer significant in any way. Now, where did this Litsilian go?

[Bub]

IGNIS: I don't know, I didn't see him escape. But he couldn't have gone past you guys; you would have seen him. So I say he probably jumped through that big hole in the ceiling. {points to a hole in the ceiling}

{Ignis suddenly realizes that the mob of monsters is still after them. He jumps through the hole in the ceiling quickly.}

IGNIS: Come on up, guys! There's nobody here that I can see!

[Shadow Scythe]

{Darfon hopes up through the hole}

DARFON: Keep moving. We're not going to lose them that easily.

{Darfon continues down a passage.}

[Bub]

{Ignis continues down the passage, not waiting for anyone. Meanwhile, Helat has left that same passage and is continuing upwards towards where he thinks is an exit. This region of the Dark Caverns is mysteriously empty (because most of the Darfonians have been going to Beachside), so it is easy for Helat to proceed.}

[Dinoshaur]

TAUSIEK: Wait up, guys!

{Tausiek, not fond of going through dark tunnels, has no choice but to follow his new comrades.}

{Theron decides to leave the tunnels and go wait at the exit to Beachside.}

[Shadow Scythe]

{About 50 Darfonians form a congestion near the Beachside entrance. Their attention is focused on Phobos.}

PHOBOS: Thank you all for joining us here. The Beachside invasion will begin soon, however we require some organization to make this effective. Some of you will be defending the entrance to Dark Caverns to make sure nobody gets in. Most of you will be in the front lines, that is, moving forward and taking out the opposition methodically. Some might get through the front lines, so we'll need some patrolling behind the lines to take care of them.

{Phobos notices Theron}

PHOBOS: Ah, it's you. You'll be fighting with us, then?

{In the dank tunnel, two of the smarter monsters had hopped up through the hole and were in pursuit of the crew.}

DARFON: Rats, here they come. I can outrun them, not sure about you guys. Should we take them on?

[Dinoshaur]

TAUSIEK: I'll be stuck here anyway. Probably best to stick together...

[Bub]

{Ignis continues to pursue Helat, taking another shortcut to find him. He sees that a few Darfonians are following him, and begins to speed up.}

{Meanwhile, Helat has found an exit out to Beachside. He sees the large group of Darfonians, finds a spot where they will not see him, and ponders how he will escape from the caverns without attracting attention.}

Theron: Well, am I getting payed to help?

[Bub]

IGNIS: {to Darfon} Nah, let's keep going. That little Litsilian is quicker than you'd think.

{Ignis continues after Helat, not waiting for any answer. Meanwhile, Helat has found a small crevice that he could sneak through to get out of the caverns. Noticing Ignis, Darfon, and other Darfonians in the distance, Helat quickly enters the crevice and begins to sprint through it.}

{After a few minutes of chasing and searching, Ignis is ready to quit.}

IGNIS: We'll never find him at this rate. Let's just cut the chase and go to Beachside - we wouldn't want to miss that invasion.
