This board contains violence, sexual content, drugs, language etc. Not that this is going on all the time, but if that offends you, this isn't the place for you. Explicit activity of that sort will be labeled. This game is for INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED role players. This means we're looking for posts that contain at least three paragraphs... about 400 words... we're not counting but aim for that. Respect the staff and other players. Disputes should be addressed by PM or with the help of an Admin. No fighting in the cBox or other OOC forums. No god-moding unless you have the other player's permission to do so. Use proper grammar and punctuation to the best of your ability. Absolutely no chatspeak etc. in IC posts. Signature photos can be 500 x 200 or smaller. Avatars are 200 x 200 or smaller This board is about the characters and the story, not the graphic content. Be discreet... keep gross sexual content, violence to a minimum. Tasteful writing people! Use your head. No bomb instructions, porn, pedophilia etc. Don't steal images or ideas.. Give proper credit where it is due. No advertising in the cBox. There's a place for advertising. Use it. SIGNING UP... Create a new account for each character you maintain. Keep the same pen name for ease of recognition however. Register with title if applicable then first and last name. EX: Captain Greyson Tolbert Create your application by titling it with last name in caps, then first name EX: TOLBERT, Captain Geryson Do not make an OOC account. We'll know who you are when you post in OOC forums, cause you told us your penname when you applied. Incomplete applications will be given two weeks, then archived. Contact admin if you wish to continue. Your first character's application will require a sample post. After that we'll assume you can still write... you don't have to fill that out every time... Do not post IC until AFTER you've been accepted and your character has been moved to the Passenger Manifest. When creating a character, double-check face claims. Unless a twin situation has been decided upon by players, no faces will be doubled-up. This is an active board. We require at least one post per active character per week. If you have a reason why you can't accomplish this, please just let us know. We're accommodating, but only if we are in the know... To try and keep the genders even, you must play one active male character to every two females that you play. You can play as many guys are you want. The maximum number of characters any one player can have is six. OTHER While this board is science fiction, we'd like to keep things relatively plausible. No wild flights of fancy. If you've got a crazy idea you want to try, back it up with convincing sounding "science" behind it... that said: if you have a "new" technology to use that isn't listed on the official tech list, you must get admin approval first. There will be no lightsabers on the UES Eidolon! Although, the ships artificial intelligence, I.C.E. "Crystal" is technically everywhere it cannot be Godmoded. Characters can ask Crystal questions and use it like a regular computer, but actual conversations should take place only with the Admin account. Let us know if someone needs to talk to the A.I. and we'll set it up. Please let us know when a thread is complete or dead so that is can be moved to Dropped Data. Help us keep the board neat and tidy.
