New Term!
The new term will officially start on 1 September. There will be a welcoming feast. Some classes will also begin on this day.

About classes:
1. Professors: At least 1 a month to be considered active.
2. Students: You must attend at least two a month or I WILL suspend you.
3. Professors should award and subtract house points during classes. You can do this however you wish - through homework, class participation, whatever - but I really want house points to matter, so make sure you include them somehow.

If you do decide to assign homework - and I think you should - I recommend giving house points for it being turned in, and more if it's a good answer. Failure to hand in homework should result in detention. *grin*

Speaking of House Points...
House Points are to be documented in the House Points forum. One thread per student please, created under the appropriate house.

We will have an ongoing tally, and we will determine the house cup winner at the end of each term (in December and June). The winning house gets the following:

- a sig banner (like the ones we have for the Order, the Damned, and the DEs)
- a site banner (like the ones at the top of the page)
