She is actualy a really annoying character

I cannot STAND Kagome. She is one of the most obnoxious characters in anime. It's the most annoying thing how she randomly saves the day when Miroku, Sango, and Inuyasha are a hell of a lot stronger than her. Kikyo is so much cooler than she is.

I despise kagome...she's extermlly annoying and obnoxious........but then again so is kikyo

But Kiyko is at least cool. Kagome is just stupid beyond belief and her existence has no point.

Now then. She is not annoyng. Annoying is Inuyasha. Annoying is non human scum. Kagome is a hell of a lot like a regular highschool girl. She and Shinji (Evangelion) get this crap all the time,mainly because anime viewers rather watch steryotypes go at it than the impression of a real person.Take Inuyasha: he is like..king of steryotypes. annoying,arrogant even in humain situations,always complaining,thinks hes all that,and never changes. You can't call Kagome annoying when her reactions match what many sheltered, NORMAL teens would do.

point. The thing is though a lot of people watch anime- or movies and tv for that matter- to see things that aren't normal. We see enough normal people in our daily lives so we end up enjoying watching people- or demons- who aren't like us. Kagome's almost annoying because she's too normal. There's nothing that stands out about her other and she ends up rather boring. And she has this thing that let's her do things that people stronger and better than her cannot due. It's annoying to see the better person fail at something and be beaten by someone weaker and frustratingly normal. For example, there was some ep- though seeing as how repetative the show is, it is probably multiple eps- where they group is fighting Naraku. Miroku can't fight because of the poisonus bugs so it's basically up to Sango and Inuyasha. Despite their superior strengths and talent, not to mentioned actually training, they are uncapable of defeating him. And here comes this girl with no real skills yet her arrow can defeat him. There is no other word for that other than annoying that her luck lets her win. It's frusterating that she ends up as the hero when to put it simply, she doesn't deserve it.

Kagome hardly fights...when she does,she really doesn't do much. When Takahashi was writing Inuyasha,she wanted someone normal. Would it not be more annoying if Kagome was an overly spunky schmuk that was automatically good at EVERYTHING? I agree when I am watching an anime,movie,whatever I want to get away from the "normal" zone,but I want characters that are uman at least. I can watch an anime where there are sausages as trees and thats abnormal enough for me. Why would I wat a bunch of steryotypes running around as an added bonus? That is far more annoying.In defence of Kagome's power,she is the incarnation of Kikyou: shes got to have a little bit of power reserve in her soul...and besides,shes been pracitcing! Shes got to get good an a bow sooner or later >_<

Personally, I dislike Kagome because she is weak without her sacred arrows and she has a NORMAL personality *shiver*

I actually don't really know many Kikyo lovers. And it's rather unfair to dislike a character based on her fans. Kagome really doesn't have an personality other than insisting to do the right thing. There is no character development and she just gets boring to watch. And fighting wise, I'm not saying she can't get good but she's automatically good at it. It's unreal and contradicting the point that she's normal.

Man,that girl sucked.She actually becomes quite the mature lass while shooting through the countryside with a bunch of losers..good for her! She beomes liss whiney,and a stronger,more solid character.She learns what "love is".She leans that its ok to be jealous..and hell she becomes less violent(I can't remember the last time I heard her yell "sit".)

I actually know *to* many Kikyou lovers. You go on Gaia,or any other forum with "Inuyasha" as a huge foucus and your bownd to hear alot of OMG KAGOMES A LOSER!!!!!AND KIKYO RULZ!I know a few years ago it seemed the other way around,but thinga have really changed. I actually kind "Kikyou" annoying from the start.She has nothing about her I like,but the fans made me despise her.Its called "overkill"..or at least to much unjust character bashing on the other end..

I think the only other annoying character on Inuyasha is Jakan, he's the annoying one out of all of'em >< But, back to topic, Kagome is rude and obnoxious, she really needs to stop with the osuwari command '--

I almost think she is neglecting that power. If I were around someone THAT annoyoing all the time,I wouldn't mind beating him top the ground too on occassion.She is to nice to him,and almost never does it after season one.

I like her because she is the only human like character in Inuyasha..and shes goty a cool weapon.

i never acctually hated kagome, she's pretty much just the average girl and there isnt much to hate about her. i dont like how whiney she is but besides that she's alright

Besides...everyone gets saved by Inuyasha, but she and Shippou just have a feitish with yelling his name..NO ONE really fights for themselves, they just stand there and watch Inuyasha get his scrawnly litle arse kicked.

i think kagome's cool...i mean, if it wasnt 4 her, there wouldnt be a manga called "inuYasha" cuz if she never existed, den it would b boring...this would b wut inuyasha would b about: there is a stupide tree n a stupid welll in a stupid deserted area where ppl come point n that would b the whole story!lol

See, this is why I avoid gaia! At least half the Inuyasha fans are brain dead. I said it once, I've said it a thousand times... I "cry" for my fandom.

This brings me back to when inuyasha.net was alive. All those Kikyo and Kagome wars. Geez now I know where those people went when the place went on hiatus.

But you shouldn't judge all forums. Mine has Inuyasha and we couldn't be father from that. Actually we just go on and goof around. I guess I'm too lenient. Since no real fangirl shows up we just make fun of Inuyasha.

I'm an expert of this. I was known on inuyasha.net by many people just for my ability to just not take this show seriously, and less it's fandom. I swear the fanfiction community is getting bad enough for MSTers to start tearing the fanfics apart for the sake of humor.

Pkease state reasons that are reasonable. I say this because most fans use the same lame excuses. I said most, not all.

Kagome is okay. There are some episodes where she's a likeable character, and there are episodes where she gives me a headache. This is my opinion, but I don't think she's a rememberal character. She has some interesting traits, but she's not a character I can remember easily. Many main female characters I can remember and say -usually- good things about them, but Kagome isn't one of them. It's hard for me to explain, really.

Overall, I think she's a good character who doesn't deserve as much hate as she gets. But I don't think she's one of the best characters of Inuyasha, or in the anime universe. (Or maybe I should blame myself for not liking her as much because I'm a Kikyo fan >.<)

My doctrine is simple. I don't hate any of the characters. I need not say more. (this also applies to other anime)

I don't share any special feeling about Kagome. She's suppoused to be avarage and she is. Memorable characters for me are like Lina Inverse or Rossette. For me they stand out instead of being avarage. Sure they stand out by their reputation of creating chaos...

She's annoying, but the main thing I dislike about her is that she can't defend herself. She's useless. She always needs someone to protect her. The Damsel In Distress thing works, but to a certain extent...

You know whats annoying? The fact that you guys are bashing her by the anime version.

She has been able to defend herself and Naraku does fear her.

I bet if you were in her position you'd be killed in the first few seconds.

What the hell do you guys expect, she is 15 and never expected the life that came ahead to her.

Maybe read the manga before judging her and if you dislike her ENGLISH VOICE AND THINK IT'S ANNOYING
then maybe watch it in Japanese.
