7-10-08: After gaining Gennai's gift and learning the tragic fate of the Demon Lords and the horrifyingly twisted past of the First Five Chosen, Luna has made a decision. Next, we're moving from the ancient ruins of the extinct Xia Organization to the wildly dark terrain of none other than... the Caligo. 7-04-08: DDS:CW's has finally done it, ladies and gents! Finally, we've begun season three and have already defeated Puppetmon of the Dark Masters -- also known as one of Reapermon's more trusted cronies. What will happen to the other Dark Masters, who, like the Demon Lords, were also founded by GranDracmon? Which area will we visit next and will it bring us closer to finding the Zenith Gate, and defeating the First Chosen: The Council? Find out next!

I was just thinking... what kind of apocalyptic mess would the Digital World and Earth be if Wormmon's death didn't change Ken and make him see the errors of his ways, but only made his anger and hate stronger? Like, he became MORE bad because of it.

I'm trying to imagine what the rest of the season would've been like.

well Ken himself wouldn't be a problem I don't think, the digidestined pretty much destroyed all his resources and even if he got them again he couldn't match them in power. BUT! Without Ken becoming good Veemon would have noone to DNA digivolve with and without imperialdramon their is no way they could have one their later battles.

so pretty much Ken staying evil would have paved the way for Myostismon (Malomyostismon was it? wow I haven't digimoned in awhile :S) to have an easy win

Ah yes, but evil Ken is crafty. Besides, if he hadn't really cared about Wormmon's death, then he would've been able to still use Chimeramon. Then again, my memory of Digimon 02 is a little fuzzy, but things didn't get quite out of control with that digimon until Wormmon's death, I think?

Maybe....

Maybe evil Ken would've totally found a way to pwn MaloMyotismon. :O Maybe he would've teamed up with Demon?!?!

ugh I gotta rewatch that episode, especially because I remember it being one of my favorites, but I think that digimon was already out of control which is what made wormon sacrafice himself.

I don't think he would have teamed up with Malomyostismon, if anything evil ken would have figured out that he was being manipulated and possibly would have fought his own private battle with him.

Oooh...Evil Ken could have teamed up with black wargreymon *drools*
