According to Pyro's segment in
this post, Quinn City looks like a bunch of rubble with lots of screams both distant and near. However, the orphanage itself is a bit homey, if not a little run-down just because of nighmares.

And of course, you may make your own oprhans as well and control them! However, if you're planning on a character adopting an orphan (and yes, you don't necessarily have to adopt the orphan YOU created, you could offer to adopt someone else's as well), you have to make a try-out for them IF you want them to become a Wielder. However, orphans who are not Wielders or not going to be adopted do not have to be tried-out. BUT... if you are adopting an orphan who will NOT be a Wielder, they still have to have an untaken name!
BUT the orphans are kind of like the Nursemon from Egarim City. Make your own, give them pretty hair colors and pretty eyes, play mix and match, do whatever you want! It's cool. :D Also, this is the PERFECT arc to have your baddies attack without feeling intimidated about the plot (since the plot is very minor).
