Japanese Music, J-Pop, J-Rock, etc.

For some reason, I really like Japanese music. Not traditional stuff (like they have at the stores). But things like the Pillows, or ORANGE RANGE, or Charcoal Blanket. Most of you have probably never, EVER heard of those bands. And you need to, because they are great. Anyone else have good musicians of Japanese (or even just Asian) original to endorse?

little by little (They've done...stuff)
ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION (Responsible for one of the BEST theme songs ever)
Hound Dog (ROCKS...does)
Akeboshi (A bit different, but good)
ORANGE RANGE (Popo-san! YEAH!...um, long story)
And one of the best voices ever...Utadu Haruka. Sigh.

I owe a "Hikki" CD, as Utada Hikaru is so lovingly dubbed by various fans that I hang out with. Since she's on your list and she's famous, then I feel obligated, if not encouraged, to devote a half minute's amount of time to promote my favorite singer...
