Since we haven't brought this up yet; Who is your least favorite FF characters and why if you feel like it.

Final Fantasy I: Red Mage. Yeah I know what I said before but he has the worst stat growth and can't use any of the best weapons, armor, or magic. Effe to him I say.

Final Fantasy II/IV: the Twins Palom and Parom? they just annoyed the hell out of me, Rosa and Rydia lites.

Final Fantasy III/VI: ugh. Relm, control and great ability given to one of the most annoying characters ever. Gau, cos raging made you lose control of him. Umaro, again no control.

Final Fantasy VII: Cait Sith. I was done with him the minute they gave me control of him.

Final Fantasy VIII: The whole cast. Sorry fans. One of these days I'm gonna give this another try, so we'll get back to this one.

Final Fantasy IX: Eiko? the little summoner girls with cat ears. To quote Mister Horse if I may? "No Sir. I don't like it."

Final Fantasy Tactics: All about building levels, I can barely remember a single character from this game. Forgive me if i offend, but I will gladly trade a ball to anyone for this game. Never mind I'll get PSP so I can play it on there.

Don't remember II's characters very well so I skipped it, and III had classes like the first one I skipped that too, mostly cos 90% of them are useless. Tactics Advance was just super lame so we skipped that too.

red mage: as a counterpoint, that was black and white magic in the same character. mind you, i didn't run into this character in FFI; it was ff5 for me, but still. not that bad really. just not specialized enough. then again, since you got a doublecast ability out of it, i think the tradeoff fair.

i didn't see the point of having two summoners in the game. it's not like eiko did anything they couldn't have just given garnet the ability to do >_>... i mean "dagger"

i liked tactics because they manage to have a good looking game, with enough story in one disc to fit four easily. the little hidden side things (like getting cloud as a playable character) made the game fun. levels help, but it wasn't all about that for me.

i tend to like the games with classes because i like to have specific tools for specific jobs. having a character that only does white and summoning magic in a spot where you need a black mage and not having that character available is troublesome. not to mention the fact that you see the classes factoring into all of the other games anyway.

ps. ffxi sucked.

i give the red mage a hard time but i still use him. a lot. 2 red mages and a black and white mage was my most recent party in final fantasy I.

At the time i posted that I hadn't played tactics in years. Since I have and yeah all that extra stuff like cloud and i really liked dragon-girl, reiss and beowolf. that robot you get would have been great if he had classes.

the final fantasy games with class systems were always my favorites except for final fantasy V that game just didn't sit right with me for some reason.
