I've never been to Egypt myself but three years ago two of my friends went to Egypt for a holiday. They went to Hurgada, I think it's called. They said it was nice and they enjoyed it.

Did you know? Hosni Mubarak was a dictator in the opinion of many people. I have just read about dictatorship in the glossary at the end of Chapter 13, “Politics and government”, under the section THE HUMAN ACHIEVEMENT in Volume 2, “The human world”, of the Reader’s Digest Library of Modern Knowledge.

Reports that he was “clinically dead” were later denied. But there is no official statement. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of people protested in Cairo’s Tahrir Square against a move by the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (Scaf) to assume new powers. The rally was called by the Muslim Brotherhood, which is also claiming victory for its candidate Mohammed Mursi in last weekend’s presidential elections.
