[dohtml]Did you know? Ben Jonson (1572–1637) also wrote The Silent Woman, The Alchemist and Bartholomew Fair. I have just read about him in the glossary at the end of Chapter&nbsp;16, “The Arts”, under the section THE HUMAN ACHIEVEMENT in Volume&nbsp;2, “The human world”, of the Reader’s Digest Library of Modern Knowledge. “With George Chapman he founded the comedy of ‘humours’, in which each character represents one trait, such as anger – as exemplified in his Every Man in his Humour (1598).” In 1616 he became the first Poet Laureate.[/dohtml]
