"One ticket for 'The Holiday', please." In the crowded theater, Bre was at the counter, buying one ticket. Today, she finds herself alone, which makes her want to feel sorry for herself. But as she is not as sad as someone weeping at home on a Saturday night, she was out here, about to watch a movie alone. A movie that she doesn't even know anything about, except that it stars Jack Black and Jude Law. And Bre doesn't even care about who the females are.

Sighing, she payed and took her ticket from the woman's hand. This is stupid, watching a movie on my own. She went straight to the house 2, where the movie she was about to watch is going to be played in this house. Bre let the person-with-the-torch check her ticket, and she followed him to where she was going to be sitting.

Bre sunk down deep into her seat once she was brought there, as she did not want anyone to see that she was alone. This sucks. Maybe I could've told Anna to come, but she'll just be plain annoying. Staring at the blank screen, she bit her bottom lip, telling herself that she's not a lonely bitch that'll be lonely forever. Even though she knew that's the truth. "Shut up." She said to no one. Or rather, she said to herself.

((OOC: Hey, you switch from past to present tense a lot here, and it makes it a little confusing. Could you keep an eye out for that in the future? Thanks.))

It wasn't exactly a movie he'd normally want to see. In fact, he still didn't want to see it. But since he had brought Teresa to see it with some friends, and he'd have to pick them up as soon as it was over anyways, it only made sense to just stick around and watch the thing. Besides, Jack Black was in it and Jack Black was funny.

He had plans later that evening. And theoretically he'd been planning to pass out and take a nap around this point in time. But his mum had asked him to take Terry and some friends to the movie and it wasn't like he had a reasonable excuse to get out of it, so of course he had. He was also considering the merits of falling asleep in the theater. It was dark, it would be relatively quiet, and he could totally pass out there -- easy. But that would probably be a bad idea.

He should've brought the new play or something. Oh well. It was too late now.

As he settled into an isle seat near the back he stretched out for a minute. He wasn't one of the people who had issues going to movies by himself. It wasn't like he cared anyway. If he liked the company then it could only improve the movie, but when you were forced to watch a movie with someone you didn't particularly like, well, that never ended well. Not in his experience at least. Because then any enjoyment you would've taken from the movie was completely sucked out. Not that he expected to enjoy the movie much anyways. He was pretty sure it was a chick flick -- if how Terry and Nicki had been talking was any indication. But he'd been forced to sit through chick flicks before, and they had yet to kill him. So he'd probably be fine. And if he wasn't he'd just go to sleep. Easy.

[ ooc ; ^^;; Sorry, I kind of rushed that, so I made quite a lot of mistakes. Anyways, my tenses aren't that good without having the rush, so yeah. Sorry. ): ]

Looking up as light streamed into the slowly darkening theatre, Bre found herself pushed into a confusion of emotions. Her stomach did some sort of somersault at the sight of Jason, but she mentally kicking herself for even feeling something like that about him. Of course, she gave in to the emotion that was shared by both of them: Hatred. Narrowing her eyes as her eyes followed the young man that she supposedly have hated for the past three years.

Surprised as he settled himself in the seat directly in front of hers. Pondering whether to talk to him or not got her nowhere, so she did what she usually did: Didn't think and did what she wanted to. Leaning forward her seat (she didn't have to worry about popcorn, as she did not buy any.) and said, quietly, as she had the manners to prevent disturbing anyone else in the theatre: "So, sad enough to be alone on a Saturday night?" She forgot that those words could've been directed at her.

Leaning back into her seat as though nothing happened, Bre settled her gaze back onto the screen, where the movie just started to project itself on. Though she was not even slightly interested in the film, Bre pretended that she was extremely fascinated by it, even though the main characters haven't even appeared yet.

((^^; Fair enough. It was just a bit confusing. And this post is much, much better about it. Thanks.))

Jason hadn't noticed who he was sitting in front of, or behind, or near, or anything of that nature. And he would've said he didn't bother checking because he didn't care. But honestly, if he had knew Abrianna was in the movie theater he would've checked just to avoid her. When they weren't acting together she always seemed to be trying to piss him off. And she usually did a fairly good job of it. But the icing on the cake had come at the beginning of the year when his sister had joined drama club and Abrianna had been unforgivably rude to her.

Without that little tidbit she was annoying in mass quantities and made him want to gouge his, or someone else's ears out. But with that he just pretty much flat out hated her. There was not a single damn reason for her to be so rude to the Freshmen and she needed to get the hell over herself. Or that was what he thought at least.

So when he heard that voice in his ear he didn't even have to turn around to know who it was. They acted together, he could sure as hell recognize her voice. Gritting his teeth slightly he tried to talk himself out of responding. But that lasted all of a minute before he glanced over his shoulder at her and just said softly and faux pleasantly, "Did your boy-toy ditch you or are you well and truly that pathetic? Because I'm here for a reason. You, I suspect, are here for a shitty chick flick." God. He really hated her.

Turning back around he scanned the crowd for Teresa quickly. Not to keep an eye on her since she was there with Nicki -- and if she had been on a date he would have known well enough not to go into the theater with them anyways -- but rather to see if she'd noticed the bitch behind him. It was bad enough that one of them was going to argue with her without two of them going to town on it.

For a moment he considered moving, but on that his ego wouldn't let him budge. Moving would be admitting defeat and he'd be damned if he'd let the bitch win anything. She was already spoiled enough without help from outside sources.

Abrianna blinked. Jason has hit a soft spot, and he doesn't even know it. Fuck you. Of course, she wasn't about to say it out loud. These are the kind of comebacks that you should never use, as they mean that you can't think of anything else better to say and just resorts to swear words. I mean, they aren't everything - swear words, that is. Biting down hard on her bottom lip, she watched as Jason turned back to look at the screen - no, he wasn't looking at the screen.

If he said that he was here for a reason, Bre seriously didn't think it was to watch the film. And since he was here alone, or so she thinks, then the reason can't be that he was here with a friend, either. So maybe... She turned her head slightly so the angle matches his head, and looked at what he was looking at. Her gaze landed on Teresa Allen and Nicki Ballard, both freshmen, and one Jason's sister.

"Oh, so babysitting your sister on a Saturday night is not pathetic?" She retorted as she leaned forward again. Falling back into her seat, she asked herself how she could even doubt that the only feeling she feels for Jason Allen is hatred. And hatred only.

Jason rolled his eyes. It was a pointless gesture, supposedly, since she couldn't see it. But it was definitely a good representation of how talking to her made him feel. She was so ridiculously petty it wasn't even funny. And normally he could just ignore it. But normally he wasn't 'stuck' somewhere with her for two hours. He was pretty sure if people wouldn't look badly on him for it he would've just slapped her upside the head already and told her to get a life. He was of the impression that someone did need to put her in her place, but he doubted that hitting her would be the way to do it.

Though considering how fucking stupid she was about seeing what she was, maybe that would be the only way to get the message through her head.

Scoffing he didn't even bother to glance back at her. If she couldn't hear him she could lean forward. Whatever. He didn't care. "Chauffeur actually." Having been picked on when he was younger, he knew that one of the most frustrating things to people who were trying to upset you was to remain unflappably calm and unaffected by it all. And it really wasn't hard for him with Abrianna. Sure she pissed him off because she was a bitch, but her comments were never that pointed. Which had a lot to do with the fact that she knew absolutely nothing about him. That was how he saw it anyways.

"And I've got a date in three hours." Date might not have been the correct terminology. He was going to be going out to dinner with a girl then probably screwing around though. But they'd both made it perfectly clear they didn't want to 'date'. Actually he didn't much care. But she was on the rebound and just wanted some fun. And she'd approached him and he was more then happy to be her fun. Honestly he was a bit of a slut. Not that many would consider him one or even call him that -- or if he'd care if they did. "Let me guess, this amazing cinematic experience is the extent of your evening plans?" Scoffing again at the girl he settled back in his chair. Maybe he'd just go to sleep.

Yeah, sure, Bre heard. She stuck her tongue at his back, even though he couldn't see. For some reason, she just felt like making that gesture at him. Or rather, his back. Fiddling with her nails, she thought about what to say back. To be honest, she didn't know how she could be deemed 'bitch'. More like 'idiot', if you ask her to tell you the truth. She's not stupid or anything, but her comebacks aren't really like harmful. She guess that it's actually because of the death glares that kepts being shot out of her eyes.

Opening her mouth, she was about to say something when Jason spoke up. Oh, yeah, you could've made it up. Bre thought, but not saying it out in case he really have date in three hours. Instead, she made a blind guess. But she made her voice sound smug and confident, as though she actually knew what she was talking about. "Sex?" She asked. No, it wasn't a question. It was more like a statement.

Dearly hoping that she's hit a mark, Bre continued to inspect her nails, as though bored with the conversation. In a way, she was, as the conversation was going nowhere, and maybe even an end. In another, her heart was pounding so loud she wondered why no one could hear, seeing as the theatre was dead quiet, except for the sound of the movie. But otherwise, all was quiet. There wasn't even a cough.

Jason smirked to himself. The smirk was gone in a moment and was replaced by his default bored expression. He wasn't one of the guys that bragged about the fact that he was getting laid. Considering how awkward he'd been for a number of years he had no real intention of ever bragging about it. That was just fucking stupid. Not to mention that if word got back to the girl that you were bragging about banging her, well, that was bound to end badly for everyone involved. And considering how much news spread around the school, everyone was bound to know what happened within days. Which would seriously cut down his chances of getting lucky. So when the guys started bragging, he just shrugged and said he respected the girl, assuming he was 'seeing' someone at the time, too much to kiss and tell.

And that got around to. Which was probably one of the many reasons he got so lucky.

So while his first temptation was to respond with: 'Yes. We're going to have sex. Hot, sweaty sex.' He knew that that would only end up badly for him in the end. And it was a sign that she was desperately searching to make him uncomfortable, because really, there was no other reason for her to bring that up when all he'd mentioned was a date. Not that he didn't have something to work with now that he'd brought it up.

Instead, he shrugged lightly, "I'm not sure why you'd care if I'm getting laid or not. Except, that I expect, you are not. Trying to live a little vicariously perhaps? Whatever the case, Angela doesn't deserve to be judged in regards to what she is, and is not, doing." He did always know the name of the girl he was with. And though he had half implied they weren't...The truth of the matter was that was their relationship. They weren't dating. Not really anyways. They were going to dinner and then back to her apartment. And to be fair, Angela could actually care less about who was judging her. She was secure in herself. Which was damn refreshing really.
